You went to.your first game at one years old ?

Fucking hard core man ,did you have a season ticket or jump over the turnstile in your stroller. ?
Years ago I was on a flight from Newcastle to Southampton. A man on the other side of the isle was taking a child well less than one to see what seemed likely to be Bournemouth's last game before liquidation.

I remember feeling sorry for them both.

At the point in time when the ball was struck Vini was potentially offside but not in the eyeline of the keeper. Moore was in his eyeline but onside. Vini moved away from where the ball was heading into an onside position.Did the ball graze Moore's leg? If so then does this affect the decision. There are cases for both. It is very tenuous imo. Therefore VAR should not intervene unless it is clear cut. But it's all water under the bridge now and I'm sure VAR will punish Sunderland many times next season. IMG-20250526-WA0003.webp

Where in the Laws does it talk about phases of play when interfering with a goalkeepers view of the ball? It clearly states at the moment the ball is touched or played. A phase would be if he then challenges the keeper and that is explained in the Laws.
You've got it wrong, Mobile. I can't explain it any differently than Wayne and dsr.

Vini can obstruct AFTER the ball is hit, and is offside because of where he was WHEN the ball is struck.

Bladepicker on the other thread described it best. But also this from Keith Hackett goes into detail about the subjective part of it
