I'm not the biggest Cresswell fan but he could be a decent signing, he can be useful on the left wing, nobody will work harder for your team, he will score a few in the Championship but I do agree with alot of previous posters he doesn't really inspire does he.
But he's there now so don't boo him get behind him he may just surprise you.

We wouldn't have got promoted without his 13-14 goals?

Thanks for Beattie BTW I was unsure about him when we paid £3.5m but to be fair he is possibly the best signing we've made in recent seasons. Him, Sorensen and AD Faye are why we stayed up, shame for you though as you would have got promoted last year with him still in the side.

Indeed. It's just a shame that some of the "faithful" refuse to even give him the chance to prove he's either great, shite, or somewhere in between. They can't be that "faithful" if they haven't got the sense to give a new signing at least a chance to play, but would rather condemn him straight away.

He's been playing on the wing for the last couple of seasons.

Not saying it was the right decision, but it's not only Blackwell who does it.

maybe it worked for other teams. I can't understand why a fast winger who can put the ball in the box, never gets the chance, yet an old striker playing out of position, brought in the other day get's in before him.

He'd be better up front. A winger should be up and down the wing putting balls in, creswell didn't do it enough and needs to be played up front IMO.

Treacy has been playing well. He has also been injured, and with a small squad, i don't think he should have been played.

Why can't reid get a game !!!!

Whether he scored one today or not, its not an inspired signing on a 2 yr deal given all the rhetoric that the Club and Blackwell spout.

He gets my full backing after knocking six past the unclean and kisses our badge infront of their kop.

Putting in the effort he did and putting his body on the line is the bare minimum I expect from Creswell after all the bollox he's spouted in the past, doesnt mean Im going start clapping him like a circus seal.

Yep Im hard to please, but he has taken a step in the right direction, albeit a really small one.

i have to say this signing fills me with no confidence. slow, old and ex piggy. we dont need another striker who is slow and quite frankly will offer nothing different to the team. never rated him.

cresswell was superb 1st half, bagged our goal second. if he hadnt have played for the pigs we'd be raving about his performance. theres a reason we hated him more n more every time we played him, cause he's a quality player. glad hes finally on our side.
