It sounds great, but I do worry about straying away from a policy of bringing in strong characters with leadership credentials. When we went on our promotion drive through the leagues I always felt like we had a good 6, or 7 guys that could be Captains.

When you look at some of our recent signings; McBurnie, C Robinson, Mousset, Bogle, Lowe, Burke etc. none strike me as likely having been leaders in their previous dressing rooms. I worry that we're diluting that strong work ethic culture that we once had.

I acknowledge that I'm speculating on some of the newer lads, but it's just an impression looking in from the outside.

Yeah most of them weren't leaders in their previous dressing rooms but that's because they were kids. Being alongside JoC, Egan, Bash, Norwood, Fleck, Billy and Didzy will work wonders for them and help them grow.

Berge looks a future club captain if ever I saw one! Ozzie certainly has the fight for it, Mcburnie could be if he stops trying to be Snoop Dogg and Regan proved yesterday that he's not frightened of stepping up and standing out!

Slater will be a class act. I honestly don't know too much about Tyler but we'll hopefully get a good idea from his loan spell this season
