He's 20, has a long time to improve and probably just wants to play. I'm sure the Prem is attractive but perhaps a return to Swansea, where he'd be pretty much guaranteed games, isn't as daft as it initially sounds. He'd obviously have a better chance of starting at Utd than Villa, Palace and even Brighton but it may depend on what his priorities are, especially if it will be a loan as he'll get paid the same amount no matter where he goes.

Can't see it either but they will be stocked up top. Wilson clearly wasn't part of their plans anyway so it's just about the £££ for him. They will have Mane, Salah, Firmino, Jota, Origi, Sarr, Minamino and then a few attacking midfielder who could play wide (Jones and Elliot)

Can't see how Brewster gets a game infront of that lot so may need to ship him out?

Wouldn't mind a loan offer for Jones to be fair now they have Thiago and look to be keeping Wijnaldum

VIilla Selling Samatha and then signing Brewster Immediately would push this forum over the edge.

wilder was explicit in his desire to get a striker in, and said in his interview on Monday it needs to happen. Hopefully we are getting closer to a breakthrough with someone. It’s not going to be by 12 tomorrow so that rules out the Leeds match. So it’s going to be at best nearly 10% of the season done before they can contribute anything. Not to mention no preseason.

we should move on and get someone in now for me. hanging around hoping for the best isn’t going to work I’d rather focus on someone attainable now.
