Probably bollocks but Transfermarkt are saying this today...

Rather than use any type of informed predictive modelling, I suspect transfermarkt (a source that doesn’t even warrant allocation of a tier) simply gets some sort of aspiring ITK trainee journo (let’s call them Maximus) to have a look at the betting market and just stick some figures relating to it on their site for “content”.

Noticed this thread back on top of the pile , really thought the Brew was imminent.

Oh well , back to the grind .

"Right now, some forces are plotting my transfer to Sheffield United. Rumours of my impending transfer have been posted all over Twitter. And people that I work with, may be involved in both. I'm striker Rhian Brewster, and this thread is the longest thread of my life..."

If Swansea sign him, I’m taking my shoes off in the car park

I wonder if his agent has played games, touted him about clubs but other than ourselves there hasn't been enough serious interest. Seems very odd that Swansea are back in the picture when there were meant to be 3 or 4 PL clubs after him, including us.

If you read the article it’s just a puff piece that lists the clubs with the shortest odds to sign him. It even says they’d only be able to loan him and Cooper is “resigned to missing out”. It’s just click bait.

I think we probably are still the front runner but Liverpool want to get their business done first.

If Swansea sign him I will personally murder a swan with my bare hands. Can you live with that Rhian? Can you?
Wild unmarked mute swans belong to the Crown. As such this means that taking or killing a swan could amount to theft and injuring them could amount to criminal damage (both these offences committed against swans have been successfully prosecuted in recent years). Anyone found guilty of killing the protected species that is the mute swan can be fined up to £5,000.

If swansea are in the running that must mean a loan is back on the table.

Frees money up to buy the Arsenal youngster and an attacking midfielder too if that's the case.

I wouldn't kill a wild unmarked mute swan mate, I'm not sick. Just one of the normal run of the mill shit swans. Hissing bastards.

It would be just our luck, we buy him, shoot the 'sign on' video in Endcliffe Park, and a swan breaks his arm (which they do you know).

You can be fined £10,000 for flouting the Coronovirus rules, so you would be better going out and killing two swans. At least you would have something to eat when the panic buying starts;)

Hoping this delay is down to the media team rustling something as cinematic as this effort for the announcement vid...

Nixon's POV is it's down to who offers Brewster the best long term path to regular first team football. For me Wilder wins this contest hands down, but money talks and if the lad wants to move home to London then that's that.

He's 20, has a long time to improve and probably just wants to play. I'm sure the Prem is attractive but perhaps a return to Swansea, where he'd be pretty much guaranteed games, isn't as daft as it initially sounds. He'd obviously have a better chance of starting at Utd than Villa, Palace and even Brighton but it may depend on what his priorities are, especially if it will be a loan as he'll get paid the same amount no matter where he goes.

I just wish he'd make a decision soon and put everyone out of their misery :-)
