Hope something moves now, we need him, arguably more than Palace do but I'm sure their fans would feel the same. Issue we have is lack of alternatives! We've improved the squad no end this summer but right now our 1st team is weaker than it was a few months ago. We have to change that... if you stand still, we know which way you go

Surely Klopp only has influence if they intend buying him back or it is indeed just a loan?

All of the information in that and other articles, if they are to be believed is that Liverpool need money to finance other deals and it will subsequently be a more substantial cash deal.

Does not make sense, but if that were the case as long as the fee is agreed which includes any buy back, if appropriate then klopp should have no influence.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. London lad with the chance to go home and play alongside Zaha or hop over the Pennines to link up with McBurnie and Sharp..
Its realistically our lack of pulling power that would see him and others go elsewhere. We cant offer big wages and we don't have anyone in the squad that's a standout star who would make a player think 'I'd love to play with him'.

Have you got constipation?😆

Of course it is but we'll never allow ourselves to be in that position because we'll never push ourselves to sign a player on good money which tempts others to sign as it breaks the wage structure.

Possibly, though have you ever been to Palace's ground? It's got character but is ostensibly a shithole. They have a much smaller fan base than us and the area is nothing special. It may be in greater London, but Mayfair it ain't.

Brighton is not bad and their stadium is new, though I wouldn't say they were may more of a draw than us.

I'd also suggest the route to our first XI is better than either of them. We are absolutely crying out for a mobile centre forward.

Rambo knows him well from the U21s and he may have had a word but then again Palace may have a few young uns that know Brewster too.

Whatever happens now just hope it is done today or tomorrow so we can move on sick of it now.

Been several times will never forget turning up to the ground and being asked to be seated but there was no seat 🙄

Well looks like a straight choice between us and Palace providing both bids are accepted.

Just hope that there is a Plan B already in place, in case he doesn’t come. Desperately need someone new up top.

He does all of what you mention very well which is why for me he should be playing as our attacking midfielder just behind McBurnie and Burke and I would have Fleck and Berge behind him i would like to see that given a try.
I think the only way for us to play with a two and a 10 is if we played Osborn and Berge in midfield. Osborn runs around everywhere and cover defensive duties on his own (a bit like kante), I don’t think fleck could do that.

I don't think footballers are required to live in the stadium where their team plays, even in the current Covid pandemic.

Has to be an option I like Osborn I think he is a good player for us.

The sticking point for us is that his agent wants us to rent Chatsworth House for him and his family. He’s that good you know!

South Norwood is indeed a hole, but do you think footballers give a shiny shite? They're not living there. Same thing with the fanbase - fanbase matters to fans, not the players.

The Daily Fail have got the Twitter ITKers tongues wagging about Palace, eh.

Come on Rhian, we will actually play you and appreciate you.

On a separate note to one or two posters who've said he can go and play with Zaha there... Zaha wants to finally leave.

So we seemingly can't afford him on a permanent this summer? If true CW/AK have been thrown under the bus by the ownership. It makes me wonder if it'll be the same next year with the other half of the mortgage still needing paying. Chris was uncharacteristically forward with the press re Brewster which supports this theory.

Zaha has been wanting to leave for 2/3 seasons. But nobody willing to pay what Palace want.

I know. They've actually bought his replacement though, so perhaps will lower their price a bit. Anyway, as far as Rhian knows, he wants to leave.

But nobody wants to buy him, so he'll stay.
They also have Benteke, Schlupp, Eze, Ayew.....can't see why they want him personally.

Our media team had a quiet weekend, very little content. Fair enough, particularly with Monday match... OR... Is it because they've heavily prepared today's announcement of Brewster, Balogun, Isak and Thuram....?!
Thats what I said in my post , they have been a bit too quiet. Is all this in the press just smoke and mirrors and he has already signed
