yep - nothing about that forum suggested any sizeable outlay was going to be coming in. This isn’t happening, certainly not on a permanent deal.
Hope wilder has a rabbit up his sleeve as without moussets goals from last season and Hendersons contribution at the other end it could become a tricky season.
Which if it's as Wilder said 3.5m + 3.5m for them then they both want firing because that's incredible business lolThey didn't say we couldn't afford them, just that 2 members of the board thought we were paying more than they were worth.
I think we might/would. When you finally push the wage structure up, it's quite likely for your big money striker. Not a chance we pay him 30k a week.
Nowt, it was just above the bit about Brewster.Whats a pic of Dean Henderson curtain twitching got to do wi owt.
How do you know this isn't happening

No one said the Bogle + Lowe stretched the budget, just 2 of them didn't think it was value for moneyI don’t - but the jist of the forum was the financial impact of Covid on the club. Making sure we didn’t go over budget, and we are safeguarded for the future etc etc. And That We stretched the budget for the derby fullbacks.
Makes me think it very unlikely we have 20m sat around to buy a striker with. If it happens it’s only going to be a loan imo, and apparently Liverpool need the cash which isn’t an ideal scenario.
Had to check this for myself, he's legit liked it
I thought they said the signings had taken us way over budget, or words to that effect? They certainly didn’t give the indication that we’re about to break our transfer record. They didn't say we couldn't afford them, just that 2 members of the board thought we were paying more than they were worth.
Extended warranty, front and rear mats, DiamondBright coating?Probably some ludicrously expensive add ons rather than the initial fees I'd imagine.
Mind the GAP insuranceExtended warranty, front and rear mats, DiamondBright coating?

Except last last, the only season that we’ve been here. Also Burnley manage to bunk the trend most seasons and of course Villa which prove that point isn’t accurate as they spend loads and finished below a lot of teams who invested less. Why?
We are talking 2nd season in the premier league.
In this division you have to pay top dollar.
If we dont then we fall behind every other club in this league.
The sooner we realise this the fucking better.
Anyone considered that he might have been referring to the budget set for those two positions? Being cover might not have budgeted as much as say, a starting striker?
Nope, we can 100% say the dream is over from those obscure comments. Close the thread please adminsAnyone considered that he might have been referring to the budget set for those two positions? Being cover might not have budgeted as much as say, a starting striker?
Is anyone thinking wilder may have said his budgets been lowerd just to stop clubs demanding more for players if we got more to spend???? Maybe wrong but if true we we bid 25mil then we had more than anyone was expecting
Yep, I don’t believe a word they come out with when it comes to transfers. It’s all a game of smoke and mirrors.Wilder pleaded poverty in the January transfer window and then in the next breath Berge arrived for £22million.

Does anybody really think Wilder would spunk nearly 20million on a keeper knowing it wouldn't leave him any money for a striker?
Exactly. Nor are we going to come out and say “yeah, we’ve saved the best part of £30million to sign a striker or two”Does anybody really think Wilder would spunk nearly 20million on a keeper knowing it wouldn't leave him any money for a striker?
YesSooo I’m confused. Coming back on here , now it’s looking like we are not signing him? Or we still are? Dare I ask for a simple answer!
