I don't see it happening for the previous reasons he quoted regarding the personal strain. PA has had his time. His tenure was a mixed bag but did include two promotions to the top flight. Against that the management of debt became a problem resulting in sanctions and downgrading of on field infrastructure. His dalliance with the 2 fraudsters revealed a desperation to off load the club in his best interests not SUFC's.

Ironic he's now pursuing the club for debt not being paid.

For those trying to relive the Court case and find parallels with todays problems. The dispute with McCabe has similarities.

The difference was McCabe started a campaign to oust PA on discovering he intended to overhaul the off field operation and bring Deloittes in threatening McCabes macho management style. Sadly, the overhaul never materialised and that for me was PA's main failure.

The current incumbents are of the same ilk preferring to plod along with the same out of date structure hoping the manager will provide a miracle promotion. The club will remain in limbo until owners come on board who understand that modern day football business requires people of significant football experience at Board level. Investment is attracted to pro active forward thinking entrepreneurs who communicate their plans effectively. Neither of the current options fit that mould.

I cast my vote in favour of none of the above hugely influenced by the prospect of El Accounto returning as SUFC communications guru. How amateur was that!

At least PA understood the true value of players when it came to selling. I’m sure Brooks would still be with us now as the Prince would have placed a much higher price on him, which Norwich would simply not been able to afford.

I thought that these Clowns Of (H)ours had to produce e they had the funds to pay the purchase price and keep us sustainable for a further 2 yrs, isn't this the basic requirement de.ded by the EFL fit n prosper test ?

I don't know we still have the El Accounto sounding off anyway, along with Wit and sometimes Kevin Gage.

A middle aged woman bustles into a plush Riyadh living room, where her husband is sat on a sofa on the phone with one leg up on the coffee table.

Yusuf: “Ok….tara Abdullah….bye…bye….”
Lady: Who were that love?…..love?

[the man stares forward seemingly deep in thought, furrowing his brow]

Yusuf: “Nina love….you don’t know what happened to that old sports jumper…you know….the one I used to wear a year or two back?”
Nina: The ice white one? I never threw that away as I knew how much you loved it, it’s still hung up in the dressing room closet, why?

[the man stands up, gently smiling, and strolls out into his garden quietly humming Annie’s Song by John Denver]

How anyone can like the prince is beyond me. Luckiest owner in the history of football. Took us over and shoved McCabe out on a technicality and got the club on a ludicrous bargain. Struck absolute gold when cheap option wilder came in and, whilst making profit on players sales every season took us from 11th in league 1 to prem.

But the worst thing he did is sell Ndiaye. Ndiaye was that close to signing that we even made a video with Billy Sharp handing over number 10. Offer him £20k more a week? If it’s that close? Or just not sell him and take a hit, we got him for nowt and ended up spunking all ndiaye money on shite anyway. He set us up to fail miserably in that season, it was his responsibility to get us right and he scrimped out.

Helmy Eltoukhy has more than enough to pay off £35 million on his own, the question is whether he wants to.
I don’t doubt he’s a very rich man , but that doesn’t mean all his assets are invested in their many businesses . From what I have read about COH is that they are venture capitalists & what they currently own in our case is probably a business that is worth a lot less now than it was they purchased us & they are looking to offset this .

COH are not venture capitalists, but a private equity group. Venture Capital is investing in new, start-up companies. While most of the consortium members will have money invested in various companies, Eltoukhy could (if needed) sell 10% of his holding in his own company (which he is the co-founder and co-CEO of) to pay off anything in this instance.

He wouldn't do that, of course, unless he really had to.
