Retro chant for Man U

Carry On Regardless, taken from a Beautiful South song I believe. A simple one but I love it.

favourite United song is "I'm a rambler, I'm a gambler", would love it if we got that one going.

I also think this is one of my favourites.

We sang this a lot in our first season in League 1. Come to think of it, that season we had a fantastic away following and a really great choice of songs/chants.

The salmon and sharpy one is complete wank.

Manchester wank wank wank, Manchester wank wank wank, Manchester wank wank wank, Manchester wank wank wank ...ad infinitum ;)

As Sean says
" We are Bladesmen" should be sung during the last ten minutes regardless of the score
Stick your chest out and sing it loud with pride

Was watching re-runs of "The Big Match Revisited" on sky over Xmas which had me chuckling.
"We all agree, _________ is magic"
And "your gunna get your fuckin heads kicked in" everytime the opposition scored
70s classics everyone sung

We were Sheffield United, playing our home games at Bramall Lane, before Man U existed. I'd like to hear a chant that points out that we are the original United. Can't think of one though, too early in the am

There's only one United
There's only one United
There's only one United
..........

Then

Sheffield United - Sheffield United
Sheffield United - Sheffield United
Sheffield United - Sheffield United
..........

Sung in our own inimitable fashion, sometimes you just can't beat:
Oh when dem Blaaaaaaaaaades go marchin' iiiinnnnnnn
Oh when the Blaaaaaaaaaades go marchin' iiiinnnnnnn

It gets kind of hypnotic when sung for long enough. Haven't heard it for a while now.
I think it first started when we won away at Everton in 1993.

I remember hearing it at Blackburn in the 80s.

If memory serves, we lost 6-1 but King Edwards got his 200th league goal.

The bloke who started it was out of his tree and spent all the match down by the fence with his back to the pitch to urge on his fellow Blades. He probably still thinks it was nil-nil.

The special reggae-dub-jam version meant that after many renditions, the start became:

Ozza ozza ozza oi! Ohs a when dem Blaaaaa....

ISC

Another John Denver song that some blades tried to get going a few years ago...
Take me home
Bramall lane
to the place I belong
Sheff united super blades men
Take me home bramall lane
Can't remember which away match it was at tho

I reckon there will be Blades in all parts of the ground tomorrow, me included. Would be great to hear a favourite 80's chant ring out

Shoreham's here, Shoreham's there
Shoreham's every ****ing where
Na na na na, na na na, na nah
Jasper Carrot on sitting in the wrong part of Old Trafford

Nah, nah, nah, nah
He's a Blade and he's a Blade

It is a bit, given both of them played for the Blades.

Man U have a song based on Take me Home Country Road. But I agree it's another good John Denver song that with the right Blades lyrics would make a good chant.
