No matter where you are in the ground tomorrow, be it from the first minute to the last, old Trafford or not.We will be heard.

I reckon there will be Blades in all parts of the ground tomorrow, me included. Would be great to hear a favourite 80's chant ring out

Shoreham's here, Shoreham's there
Shoreham's every ****ing where
Na na na na, na na na, na nah

Keep out of that one on the Stretford End.

I'll be happy to hear anything which isn't 'Everywhere We Go' or the fucking "Sammon and Sharpy" song. We used to have a great repertoire, it's time we used it more instead of the generic crap that everyone else sings in the country.

We'll sing what we want, We'll sing what we want...........

We're Sheff United, we'll sing what we want !!!

To the tune of Sloop John B? That one can bite the dust as well!

I reckon everywhere we go will be the favourite - even you have to admit, it is a loud chant and that is just what we need at Old Trafford.

Keep them quiet for 20-25 minutes and they will be edgy.

More noise, whatever it is..............you'll join in anyway - because you are a Blade.:)

I don't mind 'Everywhere We Go' and it'll be the one that gets sung most tomorrow, agree about the Sammon & Sharpy song though, it's fucking wank.

My favourite United song is "I'm a rambler, I'm a gambler", would love it if we got that one going.

Like Tyler Durden I hate the generic chants. I'm sat watching Exeter and they sing at least 3 songs that we do.
That said, I think we were in need of some more up tempo chants.

yep, high tempo.

Recently with big away crowds at Villa and Spurs, the chants were, easy, loud, repetitive and virtually none stop.

We stopped briefly when Spurs scored the penalty - then back to high tempo.

Just what the doctor ordered for tomorrow.

I'm sure we sang this very early 70s to The Bears Picnic tune

Don't go down to the Shoreham End you better not go alone
Don't go down to the Shoreham End you are better off staying home
For Tony The sugar puff bear has roll up his trousers and cut off his hair
And he has gone to join the Blades boot boys
la la la la la la

Now 60 so my memory is not as good as it was.

I think there's nothing worse than when away fans sing a fast upbeat song continuously- we try to drowned them out with a big anthem- only to realise ours has an ending, while there's goes on forever and now every single away fan is on their feet, jumping up and down, pounding out the same catchy chant!

"We've travelled far and wide"
I busted it at drinking on the streets as a kid, NEVER ONCE heard it at a game!

Sheffield United, Sheffield United.... with the emphasis on Sheffield. Manc twats, enjoy your drive back down the M6 M1 and M25

we will indeed - Villa plus a few - and I still maintain that's the loudest I have ever heard away from home.

This was my favourite day out watching the blades ever, the 2nd half was almost 45 minutes of "shoreham boys" over and over - stopped for about 20 seconds after their goal - then started again. Had no voice at all on sunday

Sung in our own inimitable fashion, sometimes you just can't beat:
Oh when dem Blaaaaaaaaaades go marchin' iiiinnnnnnn
Oh when the Blaaaaaaaaaades go marchin' iiiinnnnnnn

It gets kind of hypnotic when sung for long enough. Haven't heard it for a while now.
I think it first started when we won away at Everton in 1993.

Well before Eighties but good shout

The original " Blades go marching On On On " used to start slowly with " If you want to beat United youve a helluva a way to go"
Used to love it.
Always preferred "Can't help falling in love" when it usually only got sung during the last few minutes of away games.

Woodhouse Blades singing "Heart of My Heart" a good memory as well.

Another favourite of mine is "we are the blades, we are the blades, oh we are we are the blades", often sung in response to the "who are ya?", chants of the opposition.

Another that got a real run out at Villa

First sung at Goodison Park on that Tuesday night. Absolute quality. Don't think it's ever been sung properly or aswell since..... Maybe tomorrow?!

Forever and ever
We'll follow United
The Sheffield United
Wherever they go-oh-oh

Or the original longer version

Forever and ever
We'll follow our team
Sheffield United
We are supreme
We'll never be mastered
By no Wednesday bastards
We'll keep the red flag
Flying high

Sorry but that first ones shite. Like "we've got Billy Sharp" which must have been thought up by a tone deaf ten year old.
