I might be reading this wrong but are you seriously suggesting that the players you've listed couldn't complete a 10k run?

Just checked official site and there definitely was an option so can only think its a wage issue - remember there being Saudi talk when he first signed

I wouldn't be surpised if he was on 30k per week, given his Premier League pedigree

A few surprising names on there. Easton, Francis, Hampson, Blaize, Waldron & McLachlan have all looked really promising at various points the last few years.

I'm beyond annoyed that Rothwell has another 12 months on his deal. I thought it was a loan. Not as bothered about Reidewald.

It’s pretty obvious we can’t afford to pay Jairo. Only question is whether that’s a situation that changed with the new rules being brought in. Moot either way.

He had been let go by Antwerp and was a free agent in November, not a strong negotiating point for demand 30k really

Unless the contract extension clause was too rich for us & we havnt exercised it (causing him to be "free agent") then bring him back in under new contract terms like a longer contract but lower wages?

Id thats a thing i just said then maybe its that or im just clutching at straws... also if its not and we just cant afford him then we really are in shit and scraping barrel this season.

If we are selling Peck &/or Hamer etc then keeping Jairo makes so much sense & then loaning in a winger or signing one permanently and with the wages freed up

Hopefully we can resolve the Jairo issue & get him on a contract as he without question strengthened our midfield
