Strange that they even care about Wilder when they have fought so hard for promotion needing a huge points tally to achieve it compared to their last promotion.
I know we're disappointed to finish 3rd and be playing in this league for another season, but the top three really have been incredible.
Leeds have been what the experts predicted and expected, they've blown many sides away with this ability to keep going and get so many late goals. I haven't watched that much of them but the amount of goals they've scored as well as their apparent free flowing keegan 2.0 style of play has been what the pundits have all fawned over.
Burnley so strong defensively. I know we were also very tight at the back for the first part of the season, but Burnley have been unreal at the back, again, highlighting the importance of a keeper and that strong defence to build on through the season.
And ourselves, for so long the side that could grind out wins, seemingly by not being all that, in the words of some opposition fans. We ran out of steam at the final hurdle, in not quite spectacular fashion, but to also think where we were in the summer with a rebuild required, we've come along way and found some terrific players.
The strength of the top three was relentless and Sunderland couldn't keep the pace with us after the New year, really. I don't really know why the Leeds lot would be bitter with Wilder or Burrows for that. The team of the season recognises the quality this season, its a high bar.
