I am sorry and you can say this is an overreaction but even if we managed to sneak up which I don't think we will, then we are still with the wrong manager.

The one thing McCabe said after the play off final was that the only thing he thought Wilson had failed on was bringing through youth. Considering Maguire was already playing before he arrived and Long had 1 game in for Simmo.

This year he has brought through umm Long because his keeper was injured, Ironside's last real game was as a sub against Donny and Whitehouse has not even seen the pitch since that game. We are now going to start to see injuries which we have Kitson, Poleon and Hill from today. McFadzean is the u19 left back yet can't get past Higginbottom when we are desperate to win a game

This will be a wasted season and if you think we didn't have money this season then I think you should start wondering how much worse it's going to be next year and the likes of McFadzean, Ironside and Whitehouse won't have even seen 10 games between them this season in preparation for that. I was more than happy to sacrifice this season to bring lads like this through yet we have brought in players like Barry I can't be subbed Robson, Poleon and Forte to stifle our own players.

This is going to set us back 2 years because we will need to rebuild again but hopefully with youth and a man who doesn't want to hide behind senior players who let him down.

I remember Kitson saying in interview that he likes playing for wilson because he doesn't need telling when he has a bad game, he already knows. Sounds like camp fucking cupcake down there to me.

Please please please no more signings like Kitson, Robson, Higginbottom as they are elastoplasts which are keeping this club shit and Wilson, take that fucking Doyle with you.

you say this after 3 nil nil draws in a row at home ?? but its so enjoyable at the moment ;)

All this will be water under the bridge come may day and the open top bus parade around town and the town hall and the city will be red and white and danny wilson will be a freeman of the city.......................

I sat there today thinking 'Are they the worst United side I have ever seen?' and no I have seen some sh!te in the last 50 years but at least the sh!te tried - this lot beggars belief No Heart No passion No Balls and No Talent!

it will be hilarious if we go up. imagine if we won the league! celebrating with the trophy! barely a decent player in the feckin squad!

Warnock resigns at Leeds...why not have him back? Too much water has gone under the bridge with him and McCabe but I'd have him back. Sack Wilson and give Warnock a chance. At least you wouldn't be able to say the team were playing without passion. What do we do? Let Wilson have till the end of the season and us not go up anyway or take the chance with Colin?

If someone new came in at worst he'd be as bad as Wilson.

At best 'new manager syndrome' might kick in and the games in hand may be won.

Nowt to lose having someone in on a short contract with a promotion bonus.

Whether or not thats Colin I'm not sure if he'd come but we certainly wouldn't be scatching our arses tonight woundering if we were going up if he was in charge instead of Wilson. We'd all be wondering which game would seal it and how do I get a ticket?

I don't know why everyone thinks we will not do well in the playoffs.
One goal from OG in the away leg then our usual 0-0 in the home leg, easy peasy back at Wembley an away game as long as OG stays injury free we are in.

Wilson is starting to remind me of my teams QB Rony Romo. Can't win when it matters

Just need Sitwell to come on and tell us we imagined today and my day would be complete :)

A point I completely disagree with, and have to keep reiterating my point about it.

Firstly, Kitson is our top scorer so why would you get rid of your teams top scorer? Also, Robson has been an improvement on the alternatives, and Higginbotham was signed has cover.

Also, look at any other team at the top, Donny for example, top of our division. Today that had Jones (33) Griffin (34) Coppinger (32) Spurr (30). These are older experienced players and they are top. So why is it different for them? Well, it's not. We can't have a team of 21 year olds and expect to walk the division, it's simply not realistic. We need older players, and we only had 4 players (Hill, Kitson, Robson, Doyle) in today's team 30 or over.

Clearly Danny will be here until the end of the season, and have you EVER stopped to think that these kids aren't playing because they aren't good enough?? It amazes me that you have seen them for maybe a handful of games (tops), yet Wilson sees them every day in training and you think that YOU are the person with a better understanding of the players? Madness, I tell you!

but form changes , it might take a lucky deflection , a ludicrous penalty
been watching us too long as the name suggests
remember under Basset when we went up some of the performances were dire , absolutely dreadful
but they are erased in a mist of forgetfulness when you achieve promotion , as these shite turn outs will be forgotten
edited lowlights

the kids seem to be good enough when there's a flap on though and are expected to immediately step up to the plate.. what is worrying is seeing the top scorers charts and we are nowhere near

Warnock's a great shout. He'll retire at the end of the season or a bit after that and then we can get right back on the managerial merry-go-round that's served us so well in recent times. Brilliant.

It's not perfect by any stretch but we're higher in the league at this point than I expected us to be last August and we're a best price of 8/13 for promotion. Let's not do anything stupid at this point.

Absolutely unbelievable, people actually suggesting warnock would be a better shout than Danny, these same people were probably calling him a bell end and saying he was the devil incarnate. Chopping and changing manager gets us nowhere, apart from relegated to where we are now, all those calling for Blackwell to piss off must have felt pretty good at the end of that season, just be patient for f#*k sake !

But even if the kids aren't good enough, surely they're not worse than Doyle? What harm is it giving them a game to get experience? They'd do anything to wear the shirt; Doyle is our captain and doesn't care, like many of our players.

And wait for him to fail again? It's plain for everyone to see that he's clueless. There are teams with worse resources in our division who are doing better. The way we are playing under him of recent will make us blow an excellent opportunity to get out of this division - the standard is worse this year! Getting rid would give us a glimmer of hope that we might get out of the division. Unfortunately, Wilson's managerial track record also points towards the probability of another failure and another year in this poor division.

Had we not been robbed of our too scorer we wouldnt be having this conversation would we? Who is to blame for that?

Sat in the stand thinking why the fuck am I here?

Nothing is changing down here and the more I think about it would be a bad thing for us to miss out on promotion and have a complete clear out come May.
Why should I be having such thoughts when we are in such a strong position for promotion?
There has been some dark days down here but they were in relegation struggles not in promotion campaigns.

Wilson is starting to remind me of my teams QB Rony Romo. Can't win when it matters

I'm a 'skins man myself and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed watching Romo fail to get it done against a half fit rookie in last year's final regular season game!
