Remember - Free game at the lane today.

For those who didn't know, the U21's are in action against Birmingham City in the "U21's Premier League Cup. The k.o is at 1:00pm and the entry is free and can be made via the GAC stand which is the only stand open to fans for the game.

It is expected that a few first teamers will feature including Sean Miller, Daryl Westlake, Mark Howard and Jamie Murphy according to sufc.co.uk. Cloughy is also well known to get himself involved in the academy side of things and was at the U21 game at the weekend therefore don't be surprised if he's on the sideline today as well.

When we played Birmingham in the U21's League match a few weeks back they played experienced first teamers as well including Darren Ambrose so all in all can't be knocked for a free game.

I can't get as i'm stuck here at work but just thought I would spread the word. If you have nothing to do then get yourself down there and support the lads! Won't cost you a penny to get in!

Would have like to have gone to this, but once again the U21 schedule is very unkind to most people

Also, we have Oldham away on Wednesday night in the FA Youth Cup. Hopefully it goes better than it did last year!

Just to give you some latest on this one for anyone interested. Just short of an hour gone and it is currently Blades 2 v 2 Brum according to a buddy of mine who just kindly text me to tell me the score, will try and find out who the scorers are for you as well.
