In fact on second thoughts post someone else's address, that'd be much funnier, especially as they won't have any idea what's about to happen to them.

How meant Murphy threads do we need?
 
Given the OP's reputation for unstable tales and rumours, shouldn't this go straight into the rumours thread?

Personally, there's nothing to beat over-egging a pudding, and this thread is the mother of all puddings. I know it's been a disappointing day, even sickening according to some on here, but we'll survive, in what shape or with what achievements to look back on, who knows?

The one glaring thing about today is how distanced the 'suits' are from those who pay good money at the turnstiles or via season tickets. How long ago was it that Adkins met the fans? I ask because I noticed somewhere on here that Murphy had already signed a contract with Brighton at the beginning of August. Adkins also reiterated, in the last few weeks I think, that Murphy wouldn't be sold, after all that's not what a club with ambition does, true?

Is this because you didn't tell us first ?
 
No I don't like the club being tight with the truth, but its what most clubs do when a player that is deemed to be in the first 11 is sold. Lets face it we've sold better and come through it, time and time again. Unless we are in the top 6 in the prem it will continue to happen, its the way football is at the moment, I'll be far more upset if we roll over to Chessy tomorrow than the selling of a very frustrating inconsistent player!
 
I couldn't care less that Murphy has left, its the fact that every player we sell is an "undisclosed" amount, maybe they don't want 20,000 fans on a Saturday at the Lane knowing how low the fee was. Not only that, but on numerous occassions the club has said we won't sell Jamie Murphy.

The club feed the bullshit, get the season ticket sales and then sell as soon as they get chance.
