it is believed O'Driscol needs time to make his mark on a club and wounders if he would get the time at the Lane, so . .

would the fans accept relegation if in the long run it was for the good of the club in the long run ? ?

A no for me as well. We should be looking at reaching the playoffs next term IMO. If we go down then that will set us back years.

i firmly belive the SOD is the right man for us, however IMO i believe Carver will get the job till the end of the season and then SOD will come in the summer. Carver can do enough to keep us up but im not sure SOD would. Plus it will be cheaper on the compo to donny and SOD will hace all pre season to get them playing how he wants.

Sorry ...... I'm another one of those who would not accept relegation. I have spoken to a few of my friends who all support teams who have gone down to League 1 (Man City, Notts Forest, Norwich) and they have all said the same about the quality of football (long ball & physical).

Since Warnock left, the passion from the club has gone and I don't see how SO'd would bring this back. For me, Micky Adams all the way (but only because he's a Blade like me).

However whoever comes in will have my full backing because I'm a Blade through and through.

No team should settle for relegation. could end up like charlton, oldham and whoever else couldnt get back up once going down...

i never said settle but accept it to give O'driscol time to turn it round.
Adams would maybe have the best impact i would hope the same as Warnock when he took over after Heath and turn us round.

No I wouldn't accept Relegation!! I also don't even want SOD. We are a club without the personel for SOD. He needs money and we are potless.

Mickey Adams for me everytime. He DOES have the squad for the "Mix-It" style he adopts

So, Carver get's the job till the end of the season, we finish 1 point off play-offs(highly unlikely, i know), then we send him down the road to start again with SOD?
We need someone in now IMO. If it's Carver then so be it, not my choice personally, but, i wouldn't want us to go down the road of appointing a caretaker manager till the end of the season.

Would I? Yes!

HOWEVER, it is hypothetical. I have every faith that SOD would turn us around. Not only that, but even if he struggled there are 5 teams worse than us. Palace, Preston and Scunthorpe WILL finish below us this season. I also think we may finish above Hull and Bristol (and possibly Coventry).
