It goes further back, my conspiracy theory is based on Wilder's sandwich comment. Since then Wilder is about as popular with them as a shit on the carpet and his comments on RS last night won't have helped.
Get a grip ffs

A huge over simplification and generalisation however .

There are 2 teams of players, 2 sets of managers and coaches all of whom would do anything to gain an advantage ( its the polite way of putting it )

Only the officials have read and are trained in the laws of the game and yes they sometimes get it wrong , then again many laws start with the line " in the opinion of the referee"

It is what it is and always will be .

Just keep in mind some officials have admitted their bias once they have retired.
Yeah - just that you seem to think that it's most of them because Wilder made a comment about a sandwich

Said after 15m this is a Charlton rerun

Not saying Boro did not edge it. But ALL the decisions went their way, He never gave us a thing until we were losing

Someone said he has refed us x 5 and we lost every one, can believe it

We need a charm offensive on the refs because it is happening too many times

According to Whoscored, he has been the referee in 10 of our games, won 4, lost 4, drawn 2. So overall no objective bias, although I think it’s 3 losses out of 3 in the championship this season.

Since when has two handed shoves in the back against a player in the air that then makes him miss the ball no longer a foul???? Not just this ref but it's a common theme I've seen with most refs against us.

Modern referring is the biggest load of bollocks I've ever seen. Red card for late challenges but allow blatant cheating and gamesmanship to go constantly unpunished.

Will judge later on but personally I think this fixture should have a higher level of official attached to it. The Select Group 2 referees as Josh Smith is in, does the odd game in the PL but mostly Championship and personally I don't think they have the experience for this type of fixture. In the Premier League other than the "North London Derby" there aren't any tasty fixtures this weekend. Often this match is a overwhelmed by the occasion of the fans, the best referee in my opinion that we have had at BTDBL for the Steel city Derby was Andy Madley, that was in 2018, although ended 0-0, he kept a lid on it, not quite sure what if anything he said to the players pre-match but there wasn't any flare ups. We will see how the young Mr Smith does.

If Tanganga stops running 20yds to dispute every decision and Peck plays football instead of getting involved in private wind ups with the opposition we should be fine.

Hes the captain hes allowed to question the decisions.

Peck is perfectly fine in winding opposition up and taking them off their game.

They both can continue doing exactly that, theres no issue from me.

I was happy he blew up on a few corners, it saved Hamer or Burrows perfectly finding the front man or booting it beyond the far post. We’ve been good at corners this season but we were terrible at them today.
Harry Bassett has a brilliant counter to "not beating the first man".
Position a Blade as first man and if it comes to him in the air he can backhead it - used to cause mayhem in the box & goal chances we often used to convert.

We are totally ineffective at corners - I just sigh when we get one.
That feckin nonsense one of trying to pick out Tanga as he desperately runs in a curve trying to get beyond the 6 yard box to nod it back in - just pathetic.
Then the loopy ones and the ones that are repelled by the first defender.

Woody must be turning in his grave clutching his wet Casey which probably weighed double the weight of today's lightweight floaty things.

Once he hit them , they stayed hit , until Eddie , Currie , Billy or another diverted them goal bound.

Yes agree he is the captain but he has to question things in a respectful way it's natural for anyone not only referees to get pissed off with the constant sniping.
His discipline record might be better if he showed a bit more respect.

Respect has to be earned. Unfortunately the referees we've had so far most of them doesn't deserve shit off our shoes.
