Anybody else think he got in the way of play a lot last night?

Not to the extent of Graham Poll tackling Tonge at Old Trafford, but I noticed a couple of occasions where our players had to re-direct their runs or change their pass because he ran right across their path. After watching the highlights this morning he also did it on one of Boro's attacks in the first half

Just popped back to say Goodbye because I'm leaving Sheffield at the end of the season, and to stick up for ref Darren Bond who was bullied by Tony Pulis, his touchline cronies and his team for the entire match last night. Pulis spent 90+ minutes miming outrage every time (a) United got a free kick and (b) Boro did not, especially after Grant Leadbetter had been, quite rightly, sent off. The ref and linemen reached a stage near the end where they hardly dare give a decision against what was a dirty, cynical side.

Pulis's approach to the game was exemplified by his substitution of Adam Traore, who was their best player by a mile, and the replacement of the skilful Patrick Bamford by the thuggish Britt Assombalonga. Sadly, it almost worked.

Linesman Running the line At the Kop end / South Stand. Looked unfit, and on several occasions he was left behind and missed obvious fouls and off-sides.
Near the end where the Boro defender was trying to take off Donaldson's shirt and nowt was given, And when he waited for the Whistle before Flagging for a Foul to United.
I know Boro had a player sent off and Rightly so. Need a strong ref Saturday for MILLWALL an equally strong physical dirty side.

The internet still works beyond Chesterfield, old stick. I’m pretty sure of that anyway...

I'm the only one who thought he wasn't too bad in comparison to most this season. After the sending off he let a lot go for about 10 minutes and the booking on Fleck was over the top but I only let out sounds of exasperation about 3 times last night whereas with some games this season I've barely been able to watch the game (the draw with Villa springs to mind). Accepted he wasn't great but probably one of the better refs all season.

I thought he did 'quite' well, and by comparison I was less exasperated than I have been with other refs.
He let a couple of challenges go which were strong but fair (for both sides) which other more petty refs would have given as tackles/fouls from behind

Honestly, worst then all the refs in league one, apart from the red card a majority of his judgements were wrong

Equally bad for both sides. He lost the discipline of the game and was desperate to even things up for the red card, fortunately we didn’t give him cause to.

The officials were poor.
The ref 2 yards away from when Brooks copped for a full swing hack and the fecker didn't even give a foul
The full on both arms wrestling grapple on Leon was missed too.
The lino who called the pass down the line that never went out.
Most of their 20 fouls weren't soft ones throw yourself to round stuff but full on fouls , the 5 bookings and a sending off tells it's own story.

Boro were dirty cynical bastards.
