Potentially our new local depending on what they've done, see ya there!

Nice one. :)

Should be good given the standard of accommodation and ale in the other Thornbridge pubs. Likely to be expensive, but then I only need a couple of Jaipurs to feel refreshed. :D

His Missus is Pauline from League of Gentlemen isn't she? The A4E woman?

Not a drop of their brews will ever pass my lips.

I'd imagine the incredible expansion of Thornbridge is not unrelated to Pauline's £8m take from A4e.

But I'll forgive a great deal in return for a decent local in Woodseats.

Reasons why i'm looking forwards to the new season. Another 9 months of Saturday afternoons and Tuesday nights watching my football club, enjoying a few beers, renewing old acquaintances and meeting new, having a laugh and a bit of banter with my mates.

Reasons why i'm not looking forwards to the new season.

Don't think the youngsters are ready for the jump, and think most of them will struggle badly

The knives coming out at more or less the start of the season.

The moral sapping walk from the Lane to the boozer after the match, going through everything that has/is going wrong at the Lane.

The potential for more car park demonstrations, because people care and are that pissed off with what is happening at the club.

Seeing more money drifting out of the club, and going in to McCabe's pocket in the form of rental on a lease of 'The World's Oldest Professional Football Ground"

The lack of clarity, leadership and communication from the club about what is happening to Sheffield United

Potentially watching Sheffield United sleepwalking in to the 4th tier of English Football

Sounds all too familiar and very similar to the last time we slipped down there Brownie.
Twas after another unsuccessful campaign where the pigs got promoted from the third division and left us floundering there for several years.

love it !

Things looking more positive. McD has signed, Cofie and Miller give us a lot of pace up front and a centre half back up is on the way. Add to that Schlupp as a possible season long loan, I think things are looking good for next year.

Looking forward particularly to see a group of young lads emerging ala Jags, Tonge of the early 2000s.

UTB - I predict a top 2 finish!

Yeah things seem a little more positive at the moment and that is coming from me.

If we can just offload Monty and his wages thus freeing up some of the cash flow that would be the icing on the cake. Although L**ds have mugged Wendy to the signing of David Norris so no chance of shipping him to Warnock.

Don't be stupid he said he comming to le ds, I do hope it's a lie? I hate those tards baand s don't work on my puter sorry
