1, Much improved performances from a number of players and the team - Stevens was better, Clarke did everything except score with link up play which was very good and Fleck in the second half was on his way back to his best. Leonard also looked decent when he came on.

2 - Chance creation - created loads of good chances and on another day could have got 3 or 4 in the second half. If Clarke gets on a goal streak, Sharp continues and we add another striker things are looking promising.

3 - New signings all did well - Norwood was a massive improvement on Evans, Henderson was a step up from Blackman, Egan has his best game.

Said before we got that the second that it was a classic 2018 United performance: dominate possession, create some great chances and don't take them, then lose our way a bit and have some nervous moments.

After QPR and today, maybe we've added a new element to that: actually getting the win when it doesn't seem on the cards. If we can start turning these good performances into wins, we'll prosper.
