realistically who do you want to buy in the transfer window?

charlene, 19, has her own police woman uniform and whip, £30 per hour.

i reckon we could maybe stretch to 3 hours. 4 now weve got rid of danny. no, i dont know what that means either.

Harley Dean (Brentford defender) he's a good player

His name is unfortunately spelt 'Harlee' (not having a go, it's natural to assume it's 'Harley') and for that reason I don't want him.

As for Freeman we've got more chance of getting Gordon Freeman.

nearest we will get is a freemans catalogue.

weve got more chance of signing john "im free" inman

more chance of an 18 yr old hottie french barmaid pulling you a pint, giving you a saucy wink and saying its free-man.

Freeman looked good the season before last, seems to have faded away this last season

There's plenty of free agents available this season.

I've been looking through the ones that are already confirmed as released and the realistic half decent targets that fit into what we're apparently trying to do could be:

Ashley Eastham, 22, centre half from Blackpool
Richard Wood, 27, centre half from Coventry
Aziz Deen-Conteh, 20, left back from Chelsea
Scott Wagstaff, 23, right winger from Charlton
Jacques Maghoma, 25, midfielder/winger from Burton
Korey Smith, 22, central midfielder from Norwich
Tom Adeyemi, 21, central midfielder from Norwich
Matt Done, 24, left winger from Barnsley
Danny Haynes, 25, striker from Charlton

I wouldn't mind us looking at a few of those personally. Interestingly, Matty Harriot was on the list too...

I would be very suprised if we signed any of those.

They dont fit in with our profile. Old, Slow, bad attitude

Even so, suggesting we go get him is this season's equivalent of a 'cheeky £1M bid for Dean Ashton' who, as you may recall, went that same window to West Ham for £7M.

I think he has been injured quite a bit the season Swiss.

Some good shouts there Daz, I don't rate Richard Wood but would happily like to see us approach Wagstaff

I'm the same, I don't even know why I put him in there to be honest!

Apparently we've given a two year deal to a lad who I didn't put on the list, 18 year Jasper Johns from Everton. He can play anywhere down the left hand side.

Jasper Johns previously at Port Vale before Everton, must be coming on Page's recommendation !

No idea about any of them but that is the sort of pool we should be getting our team from.
Lets hope the professional we pick thinks the same way.

Whoever is in charge no more Doyles, Kitsons, Collins, Higginbothams please!!!!!

And central midfield too according to Everton's official site. It's good to see us looking at released players from the biggest academies to supplement what we manage to produce ourselves.

This site lists ten youngsters released by Arsenal this summer, some of them may be worth a look:

Great must be hundreds of Philliskirk's released from premiership teams to choose from who will be next season Coffie ???

Buy?

Sorry but I don't think other clubs take a box of Peters Pies as payment these days for transfer fee's.

That Arsenal list released list includes Sanchez Watt - he'd definitely be worth looking at on a one year deal: he was highly rated but seems to have lost his way.

Man Ure have released a promising youngster - John Cofie

I'd say there's only 3 worth looking at from Arsenal, Meade, Henderson (injuries obviously the biggest concern for him) and as Balham Blade said, Sanchez Watt could be worth a 1 year deal. Being released can prove to be a massive wake up call to some of these players.

Reece Brown from Man U is another that may be worth looking at too.

Agree on Brown. What about Zach Fagan from Arsenal?

I don't know much about him, but reading up on him it makes me think we should definitely consider it.

I know these can turn out to be failures sometimes, but there are plenty who just need to be given a chance. I'm sure you're on my side with that, BB

Danny Grainger from Hearts is joining us for pre-season, looking for a permanent deal.

This, and the signing of Jasper John, would suggest that we're looking for a new left back. I would guess that means LJF and Higginbotham are to be released and Williams told to find a new club, with Hill first choice; although in my opinion Hill should be playing centre back, maybe as a replacement for Collins?
