Forgetting last night as we just about matched a decent team for the last hour after giving them a two goal start ( not sure many teams would have come back against Wolves and got owt ) ...we just need to not hit the panic button .....yet 😀

it’s blindingly obvious we need to mix it up , personnel wise , in the final third ...

Mousse I can see the same scenario..when fit flashes of brilliance ..mainly of the bench ..so I think we have to keep him, ( and nobody would take him off our hands at the minute tbh )

Burke ..we’ll wait and see where he plays and how he fits in and offers us another option..he’s a watching brief ..so let’s give him time ..

mcburnie should do ok ..if he keeps progressing..

so for me that leaves another 2 options we need ...and I know I will be unpopular..but time moves on and we might get away with the other 2 as sharp and Mcgoldrick this season ..then push on and buy more quality next summer ...but it is a bit of a risk ..

yes we think we will get one more in , depending who it is that should be enough this season , but in an ideal scenario one buy and one loan would be immense ..even if it pushes some of the favourites down the pecking order

big issue is who and how much ...Watkins or Brewster would have been great ..but probably priced out of both ( I know Watkins price was obscene and no way we were going to spunk that kind of cash ) ....

so I think we have a mini conundrum..can we push for a quality attacking player or two ideally ....or do we stick with what we have and hope it’s enough this season ......either way let’s be in the premier league next season by hook or by crook..don’t care how ..

My expectations have now risen. I expect Sheffield United to match those expectations.

I demand the Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup this season or Wilder out!!!

Watkins scored for Villa the other day,in a friendly against Man U.

Can someone enlighten me as to why Villa,Man C,Man U,Burnley have not played a game yet
Have you ever known a time when Manchester clubs didn’t get an easy game after European ties? Liverpool got Leeds (which nearly rebounded), Chelsea had the onerous trip to Brighton and Arsenal staggered over the line 3-0 against Fulham. It’s the same almost every year, the only exception being when someone notices it and writes to Henry Winter at The Times, and he ignores it.

Deffo need to keep our nerve as fans although it's maybe not as bad if the moans aren't audible at matches these days.

I've said since the last season ended that I'd take 17th place this and I stand by it.

It's frustrating having waited so long for this opportunity to feel like we can't compete financially with barely anyone at this level. We have to accept we don't have the funds but it's still frustrating seeing how far in front of Villa we were last season and seeing them be able to blow us out of the water with wages and possibly sail past us.

Wilder can't be expected to constantly pull rabbits out of hats but we've seen the likes of Burnley and West Brom survive at this level for years even if it means dropping back down and coming back sharpish by being consistent.

There's a reason why Wilder uses Burnley as a blueprint.

It's an irrelevance who we play 3rd game in. We don't want to go into any game on zero points after 2 games played.

No, not for me. Derbies are mad affairs, want 3 points down before this game.
