Although here us our problem in nutshell recently as we shouldve taken 17pts from this but for bad defending, lack of contention or stupid defending weve only taken 9. As we shouldve got a draw v derby. Beat stoke, beat wednesday, lead rotherham 2-1 in stoppage time & taken a point v leeds

Washington heads in Egans header from an offside position when it would have probably gone in if he'd left it
McGoldrick clean through and missed...…….Not like him that is it ?

What was I saying about decision making ?

If McGoldrick could finish we’d probably be top of the league by now...

McGoldrick never looked liked scoring that.

Fleck booked for a foul that you could see coming for 5 seconds before it happened

Surprised Sharp is the one to drop out given how important he was in this fixture last season. I’d have gone with Sharp & Washington today, with Duffy or McGoldrick in the advanced role behind – it’s a low-on-confidence Reading team after all. There seems to be a bit of a myth that Sharp is ineffective away and only effective at home. 4 of his 10 this year have been away from home, all in games we won.

To play like this, you need more than just Washington going forward.

Are there any Reading fans at the game? Always makes me feel sad when you can clearly see that a team potentially going down don't have the fan base to have any chance of coming back up.

Great finish by McGoldrick!!!

Oh wait...

Being ahead of the play enabled him to do the fancy flick, and it went in
If he'd been onside it would have meant taking a sliding lunge at the ball to divert it in, and he'd have hit the goalkeeper with it

The game plan has to be to get Duffy on. At the minute it looks like we've come here for a point

Told a few of my mates to watch this game instead of Chelsea v City. Fucking embarrassed so far

This is our most mid table performance of the season. Skill level zero

Hate moaning but where is the composure? Like a blackwell team.

if Chris thinks that's the best side he can put out then he's lost the plot lundstram looks lost fleck another off day and Norwood has to pass every ball 40yards changes will have to be made to win this game

Fleck and Norwood been shocking so far no movement off the ball at all Lunny has been the pick of the 3 and still hasn't done much but at least he is running. Mcgoldrick getting by passed every time we get the ball it's look up and play it long and over the top in hopes Washington can make some thing of it. Keep the ball down and play it along the floor with pace and he will run onto it why can't we play it like we usually do just because Washington is on doesn't mean we have to lump it up every given chance.

Agree, however we’ve shown plenty of composure in recent matches
But the complaint is we’re dominating but too composed so create little.

The commentator made an interesting comment when he said instead of dominating and getting caught on the break
It’s as though Wilder as changed his tactics to allow Reading plenty of the ball, then we can counter attack them.

We’ve looked very average so far but look slightly more dangerous then Reading.
We’ve been accused of over passing in previous matches but tonight we’ve been very direct.

The commentator is saying we're allowing them to come onto us and hit them on the break, it seems to me that some teams can play like this, we ain't one of em.
I'd much rather us be on the front foot, all were doing at the moment is giving them confidence

Absolutely. We’re at our best when we’re dictating the game, not relying on a break-away after absorbing pressure (something our defence isn’t good enough to rely upon frankly). Our lowest possession stat this season apparently.

Thought for a moment that I'd somehow tuned in to a Wednesday home game

We need a big fat tall piece of lard in the centre, the balls keep going in, and never meet or reach anyone. We do we constantly go wide, if there is no end product
