He was the difference tonight. What a fantastic forward display. He was everywhere, scored with a great shot and is always on the move. If we had a player like him, we'd be pushing top 6 like Wolves. The trouble is, where do we find one for £10 million!!!!

No we wouldnt.

Though obviously quality players like him could only improve us.

Class act.

Coady was also on a level, two fantastic players

He was in the Portuguese league before wolves, I think he’s referring to that

Yep, played for Benfica. Was obvious then he was quality. Very good player and I'm suprised Wolves have kept hold of him.

Coady has developed into a real leader of men you could hear him above everyone else and had another great game.

Surprised that one of the top 4 teams have not put in a big bid.
He was assured yesterday as Van Dyke was last season.

Agree - Coady seems a little underrated.

I know everyone (save for the 6-7 biggest clubs in the world) is susceptible to players being nicked but I think Wolves have the resources to offer good contracts/wages and have a realistic shout of becoming a “top 6” or maybe even “top 4” club. So the impetus to leave is considerably less than at most other Premier League clubs (ourselves included).

Coady, came from Liverpool, so might know how good he has it now; plays every game, system suits him, manager and fans appreciate him and he is now in the England squad.

He's a quality complete forward good in all areas of the game, not many better as a pure striker in our league. Kane, Aguero & Aubameyang?

How is it a shithole like Wolverhampton manages to find a billionaire investor & get a link up with the world's greatest super agent?

They have a great history - like us.
They have global recognition - like us.
They have an iconic badge and very brand-able identify - like us.
And their previous owner held out for the right investment rather than just selling out to anyone who came along - oh.

They had plenty of false dawns since the "golden tit" bowed out before finally getting the ones they've got now.

A lot of people have theorised that the reason FOSUN bought Wolves was Benik Afobe. His sale meant that Wolves made a pre-tax profit of about £6m for the season before their takeover, meaning they could offset this against the loss allowed by FFP, effectively giving them a larger budget.

"Underrated" apparently, according to SKY Sports  . Who wrote that? He's absolutely class.

Sky sports talk absolute bollox. If it wasn't for Covid, he'd be at a top top club now. Can't help thinking Man Utd have missed a trick in not signing him, he'd improve any side in Europe in my opinion.

Only on £40k a week too.
We really need to sort our international scouting system out

Lots of their players did well. Adama was very good if inconsistent, Boly also looked strong, Neto showed some good things. Did have them down for ninth but on that display (and with no Europe) I think I've underrated already
