Anyone else noticed the ref is from Hammersmith, London? Had a mare the week before reffing qpr vs the owls. That's a conspiracy if I ever heard one

Our centre forward is from Sheffield but he didn't score for us.

Truly dreadful if there minus out of 10 available it would appropriate

Ref was atrocious. Can't blame him for the result though. Linesman on John St stand was even worse. Inept c***s

The first time I have ever seen a defender kick the ball out of play via the corner flag and be awarded a goal kick :confused::confused::confused:

He was bad, but in no way to blame for us losing.

He was looking straight at Billy in the first couple of minutes when he kicked out at Beevers off the ball before a goal kick and just let it go. If it had been the other way i'd have wanted Beevers sent off.

That challenge on Adams seemed awful from where I was sat. Straight red in the premier league.

How far away from both teams are you meant to be from?

Seems Adkins blames the ref for today. I think our issues go much deeper than the ref today but I am surprised that he was allowed to ref our game today and Wedesdays game mid week considering he is from Hammersmith

Adkins didn't blame the ref, he mentioned the ref, as we are doing here.

Dangerously bad. He wasn't able to look after the safety of the players. Sometimes seemed to be just as bad for them. Zero as he failed his most basic duty.

He wasn't that good for them either. That South Stand side Lino was just as bad, some of the strangling of Sharp and Adams was bang in front of him. He didn't seem to be able to lift his left arm at all, I worried he might have had a stroke at one point.
the lino on the John St side was always looking to the ref for guidence when to put his flag up,thought it should be other way round, especially when fouls etc are committed in front of the linesman

Shocking officials and you know what the afternoon is going to be like when we get weak officials. We just get bullied all over the pitch just as as we did last season. The challenge on Hammond was the worse, he didn't even give a foul yet if this happens in the PL this afternoon they will be sent off.

Although not the root cause of how poor we were, the ref was useless, and his interpretation of what constitutes a foul is puzzling in the extreme. I'd love to see what the referee's referee (assuming there was one at the game) thinks of his performance.
