..That is what happens to teams who get relegated, I have been one who has been saying we won't go down but the similarities to the season we went down under Adams are growing, I remember us dominating half a dozen home games in the January / February period that season and winning none of them.

Because of the cup game next week there is every chance we will kick off our next League game against Peterboro in the bottom four again. We are moving in the wrong direction just at the wrong time of the season.

Starting to get very worried.

2 or 3 really good signings and relegation isn't gonna happen. Especially a striker. Anybody can see that. I wouldn't wanna be a director, mccaber or saudi prince if we don't get the cheque book out and it all goes pear-shaped.

True KenMcnaughtsNuts but who would come to us?

If they could see we're serious they might. Something like putting in a double bid for two players on the same team. That would show a bit of ambition to both of em. Hate to say it, but may have to go to chilly jocko land again. SPL players will pretty much jump ship to anybody.

Rubbish, we are here because of Weirs antics, We were very unlucky today, on another day with an improved team we would've beat em. Yes there's reasons to worry but i think Cloughy knows what he's doing and knows who is letting the team down (ie replacing them with the January loans.

Paynter looked comfortable especially without playing 1st team football regularly. Hopefully we get a forward who can secure those goals for us.

We badly need an impact player who can win a game out of nothing. Someone like Cantona at his peak would be ideal. All we need to do is find someone like that who nobody has ever heard of and won't cost any money!

It's not unlucky to give away leads time and time again. Need to get rid of this 'unlucky' idea and become better

Two great shoutbox quotes today

Today at 5:13 PM - Kenilworth:
This bad luck thing is a red herring. If we closed down the first shot we don't concede. If we don't give away a daft free kick we don't concede the second. If we take one more of the plethora of chances created we win. You make your own luck by pressing the opposition at all stages of the game. If you are 2 up at home and don't win you only have yourselves to blame for not being professional

Thought we played really well today and were unlucky. Was a great game. Main worry for me was the amount of balls we go into the box that either went to nobody or missed everyone/nobody got a touch to. If we were more clinical we'd have had 4 or 5 today. Really disappointing.

Points well made.

You make your own luck.

That referee was always a 'daft free kick' away from giving one. In fact, if he'd have given them a late pen. in front of their fans, I wouldn't have been surprised.

Yes, we could have been more clinical, but so could they - three times in the first 6 minutes.

It was a remarkably good game today - a credit to the Third Division. Impossible to single out individuals and some of our movement was superb.

Disappointment is inevitable after being two up, but Bradford were no mugs. Allied to this, they are extremely physical and if the ref. bottles the first bad incident(s), the players know they can commit murder and it's only a yellow card.

Utterly equal teams today. I'll have to see Long's wrong-footedness on telly, but was this bad luck? Their goalie was culpable for our second.

Over to you McCabe/HRH. Don't think we'll get over 18,000 in the Fourth Division, that is the core of a very good team, but signings need to be made before it's too late.

Maclean didn't help the ref ,you can tell hes played in the prem ,chucking himself on the floor everytime the ball came near him.

Agree with the point that we need to do better when we get the ball in the box. The two goals aside we seemed to be permanently camped in their box. Lots of crosses that were just begging for someone to get on the end of them. Paynter was clearly knackered in the 2nd half. Those high balls that McGuire chases back and could be either taken by him or left for Long to deal with reminds me of the nerves I felt when Simmondson was in goal. Harry dealt with them all well today but its so nerve wracking.

Still can't believe we didn't convert at least one of those chances. Hope Baxter isn't too badly hurt.

Got to win games, 3 points what matters now, there are similarities from our championship relegation indeed.
We've just got to win games I don't care how just win them United!
Dropping 2 points like today is only sending us down the table.

We were unlucky today and apart from George on the second goal I couldn't really criticise anyone, but and it is a big but we didn't win from two up and it is now one win in the last six league games, that looks a lot like relegation form to me.

I will be taking far more interest in the league one results next week end than our own cup tie I can tell you that.

i always feel nervous when we go two up because we always fall asleep.. we've been doing it for a couple of seasons now.. i was in an irish bar in Graz and saw we were two up.. i thought oh shit.. sure enough, when i got back..

Needed a Miller style player today the miller of old that's the type of forward we need now, I'd send miller out on loan for a month to league 2 for game time. Bring in someone quality with the spare wage.

Yes, all because of Weir. Who sacked Wilson again?
