Who is better?

Just watching the Leeds spurs game with Meslier seemingly determined to throw the ball in his own net and it got me thinking who is the better keeper.

Both young up and coming keepers, both with a mistake on them and in my opinion both not quite good enough to be premier league regulars.

However I reckon Ramsdale is slightly better

Agree when we played Leeds Meslier was outstanding and I thought Leeds have got the better keeper. It's been tough for Ramsdale but I think he'll come good even though I've been a critic. I wouldn't swap him for Meslier.

Meslier was brilliant against us, but has been average since. For me Rammers has been better

Agree with that wouldn't swap him... I think we'd be doing even worse this season with the Leeds lad in goal...

They both have an error in them and seem to blow hot and cold, which is to be expected given their age and experience. From memory I think Leeds only paid £5m or £6m for Meslier, so arguably they’ve had the better deal. I’m certainly not critical of Rammers though, I feel sorry for the lad playing behind our defence/midfield is a thankless task this season.

Ramsdale probably. But the Leeds lad is playing in a better team.

Aaron has been unfortunate to find himself in a poor team, completely devoid of confidence for 2 seasons in a row. Henderson would have struggled with the amount of attacks we are facing.

I suspect playing behind the Leeds defence, specifically Ailing, must be terrifying.

To be fair, after watching their last couple of matches, I’d say a new back four is a greater priority than a new keeper!

Why does everybody rave about Leeds GK?
Everytime I've watched Leeds live, he's crap
I think it’s because he made some excellent saves v us.
He is a good shot stopper with excellent reactions. However, his positioning and decision making are poor. Leeds apparently want £40m for him which is ludicrous.

Leeds are fucking shocking. We'd be mid table with out Covid Gang under Wilder if we were up this season.

None of their big money signings are any upgrade on their promotion team. I know you could say the same about us, but we've not shelled 35 million and 100K wages on someone probably worse than Brewster.

Teams loaded with wide players, they've just bought shit ton of U23's. We did the same, but at least we had McGoldrick in his prime.

Our U23's are probably more equipped to play at a higher level and we've spent fuck all. Most of the prospects have international recognition already - Dewhurst, Osula, Jebbo, Arblaster, Potter etc.

Normally when a team gets absolutely smashed the keeper is praised because he’s worked the hardest. Not last night.

Two terrible sides defensively but Liverpool managed to score 6 goals fairly easily with a couple more VAR’d as well. Leeds, thankfully were woeful and their keeper, whilst not dropping clangers, just didn’t stand out

Rutter is decent..

But hes been given 10 to 20 mins here and there in favour of Bamford, fucking Bamford!

Not sure what hes supposed to do in a team bereft of confidence in 10 min. Id have him here put it that way
