See that Millwall have just brought Jed Wallace in from Wolves on a month-long loan (a player I seem to remember we were interested in signing before last season started?). An excellent signing at this level & one of those quality division3/division4 players that Wolves hoovered up as part of their upwardly mobile strategy but just can't accommodate now.

They seem to have an embarrassment of riches - Coady's only just forced his way into their starting 11 over the past couple of weeks; Nathan Byrne can't buy a game & is a permanent fixture on their bench; George Saville & Tommy Rowe have just returned from loans (with Millwall & Scunny respectively) with Wolves "considering the futures" of both players.
We ought to be striking while the iron's hot here, shouldn't we? (Rather than the usual fannying about of seeing what we can do at the end of the transfer window - with the ominous proviso that the loan window opens soon afterwards.)
