Edwards even surpassed his own ridiculously low standards last night ,when commenting about Henderson ,he said it was a definite sending off despite not seeing what happened ,and accused Blackwell of being like Warnock (if only). But his best one was accusing Henderson of attacking Billy Davies on the way off the pitch ,something that simply didn't happen although it would have been understandable. I listened to Davies's interview on radio Nottingham after the game and when questioned about Henderson ,he said he didn't see or think it was a red card and approached Henderson as he walked off and asked him if he caught the Forest player ,thats all.
Radio Sheffield at the moment is the eqivalent of the Daily Star ,Edwards very much included and it is no wonder it has zero respect from the Lane.

so. Ok, he's no experience but he is a blades legend. Touted himself previously (probably had to take a day off from driving the lorry to go to the interview) and been passed over but... He's seen just about every game united have played for the last 10 seasons, watching closely. He knows opposition players, could maybe formulate a team out of 'nobodies', which let's face it, seems to be the way our squad will be going again from next season.... So....

Edwards is awful. He'll have already typed up his application the next time the Blades job is advertised. Expert Summariser my arse.

Can you imagine Edwards in charge in 05/06? We're playing Hull at home in the most important game for nearly a decade...

His team talk would be something like "No need to be nervous today boys, I know it's a massive game but I'll be delighted with a point today. Got a massive soft spot for Hull, one of my old teams".

If we really must have an ex-player as manager, the aforementioned Pesch or more preferably from my point of view David Holdsworth or even Chris Wilder. In fact I'd take Keith Curle, Vinnie Jones, Dean Saunders, Glynn Hodges or a dozen others before I even came to the name Keith Edwards.

Watched SSN, you are right Henderson walked past Davies at an arms length and it was Davies who leaned over to say something to Henderson

We are a professional club pushing for promotion to the top flight and there is no way we should appoint a lorry driver with no coaching experience or qualifications at this level to be our manager or coach. He was a hero of mine but I am old enough to know that many playing legends dont become a good manager.
