Just heard the very sad news of the passing of Woodseats Blade Dougie Gomes.
God bless you Dougie and thanks for the memories, especially those of the 70's and 80's away days.

Worked with his young lad for a bit about 15 years ago and he seemed a lovely bloke on the odd occasion I met him. Seemed very frail when I last saw him bless him, least he got to see us get to the Prem under Wilder. RIP.

Great lad Dougie struggled the last few years.
We got a team together run from the Sheaf on Frasier Rd made up mainly of Woodseats lads finished runners up in our first season He was a squad member.
Was a Big Tree regular back in the day and will be sorely missed.
