Gentlemen.

Any further diversions from the topic in hand (the Quinn Watch game) will be removed from this thread and placed elsewhere.

Many thanks.

So authoritive (is that a word?) Linz.

I love it :)

I'm going for 9 tonight.

And i thought you kept on topic well to that point Robbie, love it though.

after that telling off by Linz i found myself sat in my computer chair with my hands on my head how funny is that.
SORRY LINZ

I'm going for a safe half-dozen. I find the 14 of the last game a little hard to believe.

I'd also like to introduce a count of the number of times he gets himself in trouble or squanders a good chance because he is incapable of kicking meaningfully with his right foot. Do they not work on this in training?? Anyway I reckon it'll be at least 3 times.

Robbie, Is there a pattern of increased Quinn head touching at home/ away games or has this not been.

What is the official term for the Quinn head touching thing?

I've not been to any away games this season to be honest.
But normally don't notice it away from home anyway because we're too merry haha.

Quinnerisms :D

Hey just thought of something. On tele when it was the playoff semi against NF they showed that young lad in the crowd. He had the Quinnerism at one time, was that Stephen Quinn? - same coloured hair as i recall.

4 times tonight against the dingles i reckon.

I can't possibly comment as I missed the game

Quinn watch - Barnsley

I counted 5 but the best two were on the goals they scored. He put his hands on his head after he lost his marker for the first (who scored) and then on the second he did it for quite a long time. A few other for random incidents. Overall not good enough though as he has to hit double figures for the 'hands in head hold'; I fear if he does not up his game he could be dropped.

its hard to cocentrate on Quinn and his Quinnerisms when we're under the hammer like last night.

The fact that we were under the hammer was due, at least in part, to your head-holding hero's familiar inability to exert any influence on the game whatsoever.

You can count on that!

Got over your language thing yet and decided you don't speak or write the perfect sentance?
By the way I didn't invent the new word used it this thread.:p

Well............. no guesses for Sat, but 4 was counted.

Got distracted by the air traffic controller and his late take offs

We could start a new one -How many tackles will killa pull out of before January

Don't remember seeing Quinny putting his hands on his head on saturday, although I admit I was completely focused on how many times he would loop the ball blindly over his head. One that was absolutely textbook and two half arsed attempts.

Stephen this simply isn't good enough.

Quinn has been ruined by Blackwell
When he was on loan at MK Dons he was brilliant every week
Now, I put him in the same category as Montgomery - ie Tries very hard but little or no end result - average Div 1 players both of them!

The only way Blackwell has ruined him is by playing him every week.

Not in the same category as Monty. Monty gets end results

I must admit to liking Squinny, but even I was struggling to see the point of him being on the pitch on Saturday.

And that was one of his best games for weeks. Even the Quinnymoaners round us gave him the MOTM!

What exact results would they be then !

Keep up. He does what he's supposed to do. Putting tackles in, breaking up play and generally protecting the back line.

Yes he could improve his distribution, but were a much more organised team with him than without.

Personally I thought last season his passing improved as he kept it very simple and just won the ball and passed it to his team mate (sometimes)
