The few calls I head on P & G seemed to suggest that, yes.

Yes, we imploded, it was unbelievable, couldn't pass to save their lives, Magiure forgot he was a professional footballer, and the rest looked clueless.

And at 3-1 down we threw the kitchen sink at them with 10 to go............I wish.

Oh no, we laboured with 1 up front, passing around the back and constantly getting picked off as the confidence ebbed away.

Spot on. There wasnt a Plan B at all when we were losing

It didn't help that we'd just taken off the only striker who actually holds the ball up/causes trouble, for all the abuse he gets.

To be honest I thought Porter was a bit "scared" of Davis (probaby heard about Davis' threats to Ade Akinbiyi in 2006-07!)

He was getting battered by him, but he at least tried, got on the ball, won more than a single header and even when he wasn't on the ball moved them around.

We signed Baxter, Cuvelier and Bunn who all are skilful players but put all three of them into the team, we do lack height. I remember Danny Bergara saying "If we had 11 Alex Sabellas in the team, we would lose every match". I love watching flair but we have too much of it as we are lacking other important strengths to give the team the right balance also we should cut out square balls at the back

I thought Flynn and Porter were both doing well.

I couldn't believe it when he took em both off.

And please get Coady back to Liverpool and play a Blade instead. Any Blade!!!!

Basically, we looked comfortable until a mistake for their goal and then completely capitulated without looking like we'd get back into it.

All three goals were avoidable and down to individual mistakes. I was quite happy to see Agard shooting from where he was and couldn't believe it when it went in. It looked a shocker from Howard from where I was but I'll need to see a replay before I can say for definite.

How they let Nardiello turn like he did before being brought down for the penalty I'll never know. Such a basic mistake. The third was a terrible pass from Maguire, who got away with a few mistakes second half, and we just gave them a free run to the edge of our box. We never looked dangerous after that other than a fantastic cross from Hill which not one person tried to get on the end of, and Taylor shitting himself when Shearer slid in after a half decent run.

Words like this just tell you how much shit we are in
Chris Porter is one of the worst forwards that has ever been at this club.

His strike rate for even a hold up centre forward is appalling and anybody who thinks he should be still at this - well

When ever he has a chance he bottles it he must be a backs dream to mark because he will not go past you.

With respect, that's bollocks.

Porter pulled their defenders allover the place today with intelligent running and I don't recall seeing him give the ball away cheaply at any time.

For me we should be be looking at the back 5 for explanations today. ( that's the back 4 plus Coady not Howard who seemed to dive all around the ball for their first )

As Daz said their goals were all gifts and up until they scored we were well in control of that game.

After Porter and Flynn were subbed we never had another kick!

Thoughts on the amount of chances created today?
Brilliant free kick from McMahon early on. Good goal by Baxter and the good cross from Hill mentioned by Daz.

Otherwise nothing, very, very poor.

Unlike Rotherham after the first, they looked like scoring every time they went forward

With respect I could get Sunday League players to make runs he ain't got a clue when in posestion.

Good god, things are not going well.

Didn't enjoy losing to Rov today, we need to pick up some points soon or else the top 2 will be well clear.

No idea what the answer is, hope the investment isn't a distraction or a burden though.

his goal scoring record for a striker is piss poor

he aint good enough imo[/quote]

Totally moot point until we have another option. He's the only forward who can play that role at the club.

Coady saved the back 4s embarrassment twice in the first half with last ditch tackles.

It sounds like they all bottled it Racy. Say what you like ,the teams that Bassett put out would have put themselves about (or else) This lot seem to be a disorganised collection of powder puffs.

Two free kicks from McMahon one hit the bar, one went over. The goal. One great cross from the left in the second half that Taylor should have bust a gut to get on but didn't. Other than those I'm struggling. Apologies if I missed one, or two.
