We aren’t playing against teams with fantastic squads, so I don’t think it’s fair to make excuses for Wilder.

Conceded more goals in the 46-60 minute spell than any other team.

The players are mentally weak.

Despite having a 15 minute break they seem incapable of resetting and taking on board what either of the two managers have said, on board.

It's not necessarily excusing Wilder is it, it's explaining why he's bringing on who he's bringing on.

All managers are judged on results, 6 points this week is a decent return given where we are at. Disappointing to lose to PNE, especially when two up but we move on.

But we’ve lost to a team with a squad that isn’t better than ours. Isn’t it Wilder’s job to get the best out of the players he has available?

I just think Wilder is a bang average manager these days and it’s capable of giving us any sort of tactical average over the opposition, he’s reliant too heavily on having better players.

Yes, I assume that's what he's trying to do. Every now and again, teams lose to Preston, even when they're good.

You accept the context which Wilder has come back into. Eventually, that will fade away and he'll be expected to produce results in line with the quality of the players we have.

Tbh, I'm not sure where I would rank this squad in the league. Not sure what to think about many of the players.

Fair enough, but finding a good manager is hard. The owners fucked up this summer and this is where we are.

It is weird I said to my brother tonight I can’t really tell you if either are good or bad because they rarely touch the ball.
They literally do nothing..apart from the odd simple back pass and even their body language is poor as though they don’t really want to play.
Weird how Wilder keeps picking them….makes you wonder if there’s something contractually which puts pressure on us to give them game time.

Think Wilder is a good man manager but agree he does seem bang average tactically.
At least he has passion for the job and the club….which hopefully transfers over to the players.
Might not seem much but passion for the job and giving 100% is important to me and ensures my support no matter what the result or which league we’re in.
