As mentioned in the SLO feedback thread, SYP have been asked to facilitate Blades fans being included on a conference call with:

The Met Police
Wembley bods
Humberside Police
Hull fans + Club

... as an information sharing exercise before the Semi Final. The remit is quite broad and will cover travel, pubs, any segregation issues, facilities in ground, road closures etc. and the sources of information available on the day i.e. the Met Police events Twitter: https://twitter.com/MetPoliceEvents

They did it before the Sunderland v. Man City match and thought it worked quite well and have asked everyone who attends the SLO meeting to gather any questions and bring them to the conference call. In particular, it might be worth asking about the London marathon disruption.

Date is tbc but we've been advised to get all the questions sorted by 7th April.

It might not be a question they can answer, but are we likely to find car parks at stations on train lines a few stops from Wembley are full by the time we get there due to London Marathon spectators/participants - thinking Gerrards Cross, Uxbridge and others (maybe Watford for those coming from the north).

We were going to ask what route marathon spectators from the North are going to be directed into London in case there's anyone planning on getting down there early on Sunday.

A very unlikely scenario granted, but in the event of a combination of a very hot day and extra time, can someone ensure sufficent kiosks remain open/re-open to allow people to obtain water this time please?

That doesnt matter, we're on the shady side this time!

To be fair though I remember being able to get water from the first aid guys last time quite easily

In the part if the ground I was sat in, there were loads of pints of water just on a shelf on the concourse for us.

Will the police please, please ensure that hull fans are protected from the devil that is SUFC fans. My personal recommendation is that metal barricades are erected to ensure that Hull fans are able to get away swiftly after the game and avoid Blades taking the piss....

I went to get water just before the end of the first half of ET only to be told that due to licensing laws the bars had to close so none was available. I then went just before the penalties started abs they'd set up a table water freely available...in that 15/20 minute period they'd obviously figured out quite how hot it was in the full blaring sun!

What are the laws/rules regarding drinking in the streets around wembley? What with the huge distance it can take to get from the coach park to pubs to wembley way etc will we be allowed a tinny provided we're not already so arseholed we think it's all a dream and not really in a cup semi-final as a 3rd tier club?

We were told stations are expected to be fairly "normal" in terms of levels of usage and there were no major concerns.

It's a controlled drinking zone, which means it's a no-no. Having an open can/bottle is an offence. In other words, make sure you don't do it.
