Does anybody know what Flecky, and then Lafferty, were going mad about towards the end of the game last night, just after Flecky was pushed over from behind? I forgot about it at the time, but I've just noticed it again on the Blades Player highlights. I checked, and they are not looking towards the ref or any official, but back towards our goal.

Also, on looking at the move when Gregory was put through, I thought that his movement was great and the ball from Butcher was excellent. Jake was between Bash and JOC and as Gregory ran through Jake moved to cover behind Bash and then Butcher slid the ball behind Jake and between him and Jack. The only thing missing from their point of view, thankfully, was a good finish from Gregory!

Finally, while I was watching live I thought that Duffy wasn't great last night, running into blind alleys and losing the ball a lot - then when I watched the highlights I saw the beauty of the pass that he gave to Freeman for our second goal and changed my mind. I guess if you try difficult things all of the time a lot of them don't work but when they do it is worth it!

UTB - The Magic Is Back

Lafferty was telling Fleck he'd just seen three people leaving from row AA on the Kop. Fleck told him not to worry as they'd made fuck all noise all night. Lafferty calmed down and said it was OK coz they'd got a bender coming up with McNuts on Division street later.
I think Lafferty was telling Fleck not to keep calling him Lavery and asking about getting the GCB ringtone.

Lafferty was asking Fleck if the Academy draw had been made. I didn't hear it either.

Were they arguing about a patch of the Desso?
things got heated when Lafferty said that Flecky was treading too heavily on the desso. Fleck then remonstrated that he could tread heavily as he was wearing a pair of crocs which, with their plastic feel, he was less likely to create a friction effect on the Desso, at least in comparision to the Nike Brothel creepers that Lafferty was wearing. Billy was excluded from the conversation as he was still wearing his Le Chameau Boots from Saturday.

Perhaps we should ask Higgo back to perform a stress test?

I think Fleck said to Lafferty that Jean-Pual Sartre's philosophical discourse on Existentialism on being human is characterised by an existence that precedes its essence. Lafferty then told Fleck that was complete bollocks and then it all kicked off.
Yes, he was heard to say 'hell is other people' whilst pointing at the kop.

Lafferty had just told Fleck how many more points he thinks we'll need to go up... again.

"Hey, I reckon another 10 will confirm it. What do you think, Flecky?"

John Fleck snapped. It was once too many. He'd had enough of people adding an unnecessary and horrible 'y' onto the the end of his surname aswell and so remonstrated with Lafferty in front of the South Stand and his boss, Chrissy.

And he said to Chris "tell that cunt Laffert to shut the fuck up about points needed".
Chris said "y"?
Fleck said "sorry, Chrissy".
