Hope it dosent happen. I love the club at the minute.
I was thinking of Man City the other day, they have become what they despised (Man U). Fans all over the country who spout on as if they have always been the biggest club in the country. AKA Chelsea 10 years ago too, yeah they win stuff, but they have sold their soul to get it.

I'd like to win stuff but still feel like a Blade.

I've said it before, I'm happy with anyone buying the club to take it forward, but the minute I'm sat next to a yank/chinese/european 'fan' wearing a half & half scarf, is when the price is too high for me!!

My Liverpool supporting mate has horror stories along this line, and now can only get tickets for the odd game because of this...

Partly agree. But my post was in response to someone explaining the Man U, Man C & Liverpool takeovers. We're not at that level.....

I haven't seen the agreement, but I've read all of the publicly available paperwork, including the judgment.

I know the gist of what the key terms in the agreements state and I know that the scheme that the Prince's people pulled may be sustainable because it was not something that the agreement prohibited. That's bad drafting IMHO but then again nobody ever runs these things past litigators before they sign them. Believe me, I speak from experience.

I don't have a dog in the fight FWIW. A plague on both their houses. As usual, when we have good management we have disfunctional ownership.

Calm down? How old are you? How does that help any discussion? You made what looks like a statement rather than an opinion.

If there weren’t differing legal opinions we wouldn’t need lawyers. Presumably any incompétent drafting will fall back on his legal team? It’s not over yet. We’ll have to wait and see.

I agree with all this being a blade stuff but before I die I would love to see us win things or at least be involved ,just because some clubs have had horror stories it doesn't mean we will, the thought of seeing us have a serious challenge at say Europe of a cup final at Wembley is still the stuff of dreams not nightmares for me.UTB.
