We're planning to watch the U18s game in the morning, then we'll probably go to the Cricketer's if it's not too packed by 1ish.
When will we be told if the club/tv/police plans to move the game? It would be good to know as soon as possible if there are different plans depending on who we play.

Well he came on against Southampton yesterday, so I assume that makes him cup-tied anyway. No danger there fortunately. Regarding Gardener and Afobe I am not so sure.
Was just looking at their squad then to check their loanees and their status'. It's a shite squad really isn't it!

We have a poor cup record against Wednesday. Last time we beat them (5 ties ago) was 1928 when in that season we also beat Forest, but we also did it in 1925 when we also beat a non league club and er got to Wembley.
Sadly we haven't beaten them in March losing 0-2 in 1960.

Wickham came on for Sunderland Saturday so even if on the very off chance they did get him back, he would in ineligible.
We lost at Sunderland in the QF in 2004. Other than that our last QF defeat was v Man Utd in 1990.

If we are going to win the FA Cup then we have to beat Wednesday. Simple as. I have always loved the anticipation of a Steel City derby and then on the day itself I absolutely hate the thought of the worse happening. But not now.
I truly believe that what is happening at BDTBL is something we haven't seen for many years. The powers that be didn't want to use the word 'revolution'. Well let me tell you Nigel Clough wasn't listening. The changes he has made in those players is nothing short of incredible.
It's been mentioned before that there will be blips along the way but we have at last a manager that suits us and I think we suit him.
There are lot of thing we need to put right against our opponents from across the city from over the years. To beat them in the quarter finals and progress to the final and who knows where will go a long way.
Have faith in Nigel Clough, his team and those players.
For all those Blades who have given up over the past few years may I suggest you renew your alliegance.I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The only teams I feel we couldn't put up a fight against is Man City and Arsenal. Don't get me wrong every team left in this competition are better than us the league table doesn't lie. But on our day and with the fans behind us we have shown that anything is possible but beating them two teams is improbable

Are we being a little premature in postponing the Rotherham match? If the Pigs-Charlton match goes to a replay, then I guess the replay would take place on the weekend of the 8th/9th March, leaving us without a match.

Pessimist. Man City will be knackered from celebrating their Premier League Title victory and will have one eye on the upcoming Champions League Final. I reckon we'll do 'em.

Just had the painful experience of reading through owlstalk to see what they had to say about the prospective match (should they beat Charlton). They really think they aren't just going to beat us but completely dominate us, they think the reason we beat Forest is they wasn't up for it. Why on earth would they not be up for it?
They even have a post about tickets for the semi's! We beat Villa, Fulham and Forest who are all better than them. A lot of our players are championship quality (Maguire, Harris, Brayford, Scougall, Murphy, Baxter and Coady) all of them could do a job for most championship teams!
