I know it may sound absurd to the ears of [understandably] cynical Blades, but the truth is we're planning for the Premiership. That objective is actually written into the contract between KM and HRH. One very obvious sign of the level of ambition is the near million pound commitment to a new pitch of the highest quality. That simply wouldn't happen if HRH were not on board and if we were not serious in our ambitions.

That being so, why would it not make perfect sense to recruit the likes of Brayford and Coady?

As for Liverpool and Coady: Get real. The Scousers will very likely be in the Champions League next season. They will be looking to recruit world-class players in all positions. The development of a promising youngster will not figure in their list of priorities.

Have to agree Pinchy,the desire of Coady to want stay at the lane may override Liverpools wish for him to gain championship experience where he may not get regular game time ?
While our Nige is on to Brendan Rodgers,he might mention a youth loan for Jordan Ibe,he is currently at Brum and only getting limited minutes,this lad is a fabulous talent and is only 18,hes the next Raheem Sterling !
