Sharp scores against L**ds yet gets dropped. Says it all really.

Second half we got the defense sorted after looking totally ragged for the first half an hour. But it was at the expense of any attacking threat. Where did this long ball stuff come from? We did the same second half against Reading. Totally counterproductive.

Fair play to QPR though. They looked dangerous on the break, defended well, and closed us down in midfield. Not many will get a win at their place.
not many have so far this season their home record is the closest to ours, only two defeats at home compared to our one

Beaten at our own game tonight.
They closed us down and we didn't have an answer.
Rushed/inaccurate passes, out-jumped and out thought tonight.
Time and again their players ran to head the ball where ours were from a standing start. There was only going to be one winner there.
QPR thoroughly deserved their win.

shite game to watch , QPR were a horrible team , dwarf ref , and we missed Fleck

I'm not that disappointed, Like wilder said at leeds we got the result but not the performance. Today our performance reflected the result. If it grounds the players and makes them push on again it will be worth the loss.

QPR gone a long, long way from the path of pure football (Stanley Bowles, Rodney Marsh, etc, etc).

Ugly as fuck, but effective tbf. Stifling to play against.

Seems we don't have the calibre in the squad to change the side, suggest Wilder sticks with a winning team until January.

We really don't have the depth of quality to allow to swap and change do we, we're not Chelsea or City, just keep a winning team to get the lead (hopefullly) then change when tiring in the second half, we haven't managed to break teams down when going behind, possession wise we dominated that game believe it or not, but it was florist all over again, very frustrating to watch.

Can't win them all though, need to come back with a win on Saturday.

QPR's game plan worked. Close us down, win the ball, hoof it down the flanks and chase with pace.

We played well at Forest and didn't deserve to lose, far better than tonight from which we deserved nothing.

Not the end of the world, we've lost a game of football. Not going to be the last time.

Completely outplayed at our own pressing game, so we can’t complain.

They didn’t give us a second on the ball and our passing quality collapsed as a result. To be fair 2 key injuries restricted Tufty’s ability to change it round much.

Donaldson really is a 1 trick pony - ball over the top and him running on to it. Fail to give him that and he might as well fetch the drinks.

In fairness it was a 0-0 apart from that shit moment and that’s about what it looked like.

Coutts really missed Fleck, as he was exposed dwelling on the ball so many times as his mate wasn’t there to pass to. Lundstram really struggles when under pressure - he tackles well though.

When Brooks was booked his finger did go in the bloke’s eye, but his arm was backwards and he had no idea about it.

Shame about Baldock - he didn’t look happy. Bash back at RWB on Sat I guess and Jake or Stearman back in.

Reality check I guess - interesting to see if people dare to start to press us at home now.

Ollie 1 - Tufty 0

It might stop some of our supporters getting too far ahead of themselves and bring them back down to Earth. One or two were getting way too arrogant and full of themselves when there is still a lot of hard work and football to be played before we can dream of a top two finish.

A bit of prespetive regarding QPR. They have a very respectable home record. Only one loss at home this season, from a small sample size albeit.
However, we did have a poor night considering the early standard we’ve set ourselves. Onward and upward, we are still miles ahead of are pre season expectations.

UTB.

I trust CW but why not just play your best team. swap Duffy for Fleck, Brooks and Clarke up front it’s not rocket science!!! No use trying to sugar coat this performance, the defending looked very nervy, we looked disjointed, slow and sloppy with the ball with too many poor passes and bad decisions out of midfield.

Thought we did ‘just’ OK? first half, we missed two very good, poorly missed chances :/ second half we had a good 10 minute spell around 70 minutes but never really looked like scoring. To be honest I didn’t think QPR looked much better.

A really bad day at the office for United and the officials!
