“I think Washington will do well there, there already set up with quick forwards in Sharpe and Clarke so he will just fit in. Probably score 10 goals there now he has left us “

I thought some of our fans said we needed pace ;)

UTB

Hmmmmmm.
Far more positive than I'd expected.

These two comments could explain why he might be a better for for us...

Think he could do better if playing in a more settled side that are going to give him the ball to feet. Sheffield Utd seems a good fit for him.”

“It’s pretty difficult to write anything about Washington without being horribly negative, especially after all the awful games I’ve sat through where high balls have been pumped in his general direction.

“I didn’t think much to Sheff Utd. Are they not in the relegation mini league?”

erm no, no we're not. Yourselves on the other hand...
If you hadn't spent a kings ransom in wages on Hemed & Wells you'd have been nailed on to go down, still might be close...

More positive than I thought it might be, sounds like there's a good player in there, just needs the right manager to bring it out;
- enter stage left; Chris Wilder :)

A struggling QPR sign Wells we take there 4th. Choice striker? I admit I don't know enough about Washington but it does sound a bit like we cannot bring our targets in so better get anybody, I bet Chris comes on and says he has been on the radar for some time and delighted to finally get his man.

that was quick, not bad to 1st id heard of this was 9.30am

Does sound like we have signed the ghost of Matt Done

thats not a bad thing as done was a great player for us, who I was sad to see go but he just didnt have the talent for championship

Well at least they were all positive posts

Probably low down on Wilder’s list but he’ll have been on it. I suspect he really wanted Hogan but he’s injured so we won’t be looking at him until the JTW. Washington has until then to prove his worth and earn a longer contract.

The comments range from mostly encouraging to the usual ones that clearly don't know what they're talking about (Blades in a mini relegation league???).

Funny that....

I guess that he watched Billy score against them and thought he was lightening quick against their pedestrian defence .
If he thinks Billy and Leon are quick then god help them
