Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves!
From the start we've had and the rubbish we've signed weighing down the squad, being safe from relegation with games to spare would, to me, constitute a decent salvage job.
Helps that one of the relegation places is pretty much sewn up already.
The Blackburn and Derby games are very winnable and its not like Preston or anybody else in the division are world beaters but realistically, it'd take a 5 game winning streak to suddenly trouble the play off spots.
January is key when it comes to binning off some of the loans (Bindon, Godfrey and Barry can all get lost as far as I'm concerned) and getting players in like before who are good enough to start and make a difference.
Get in a proper right back, someone vaguely mobile up front and a box to box midfielder who can stay fit (maybe the return of Arblaster can be that player?) and we might have half a shot.
