It really is a weird one.

If you told me we'd be 7 or 8 points off the play offs come New Years Day, and we can do a bit of meaningful business, maybe 6th place isn't a pipe dream.

Then again, Wilder's insistence on the current set up, tells me we've no chance of scoring enough goals to win a game every few.

Bit more fight and intensity today but we played a poor team defensively, created little in the term of clear chances, and gave up enough to concede.

Great to get 3 points but little to believe we've turned a corner.

Bizarrely, as it stands I wouldn't gamble much against finishing anywhere from 6th to 22nd.

We took 3pts today.

We should all enjoy it tonight and be relieved.

But it was far from perfect and theres plenty of work to do. Lets string two results together before we start booking hotel rooms near Wembley- can’t exactly call out the deludeds from down the road while spouting off about going up after 6pts and 4 goals from 10 games.

I can’t agree more. If we had a dynamic midfield who weren’t so shot-shy I might feel one up top was sufficient….But we haven’t.

Watched the whole game (was grabbing a 2am cheese sandwich when we scored ffs) but a vastly improved performance compared to rest of season.

Dare I say it we were better without Gus in the team? Maybe he's our crutch and we needed to play as a team or maybe I'm speaking shite.

Some great individual performances today and we looked threatening.

Definitely something to build on and if we win our next 2 games who knows what's in store for the next month and 2nd half of the season. It's a shit league this year so nothing impossible.

This is another multi year 2016 rebuild, but starting from the bottom of the league above where we were back then.
