I don't want to become anyone's feeder club!!!
Wasn’t thinking of us, and from the report they are looking at Wolves, Villa or QPR.
I’m thinking of those clubs trying to compete and the joke that FFP is.

I do also expect a thread on Pork talk around how they’re the largest club, on a level with Villa and Leeds.

Wolves owned by Fosun, one of the richest clubs in the country.
Villa just been bought by the NSWE group, multi multi billionairres, one of the richest clubs in the country.
QPR owned by Fernandes, with key players like Lakshmi mittal amongst their larger shareholders - one of the richest clubs in the country.

QPR might sell up, but there's absolutely no way they'll be buying Villa or Wolves.

I got told the other day there is someone waiting in the wings to buy us. Once the court case has been sorted.

2+2=5
Unless I'm missing something, the court case could end up with either or having sole control after buying the other out. If they have both agreed to sell to this 'other' person, why don't they just sell up now ?

Aside from a small matter of a £100M prize possibly a few weeks away of course :)

QPR is about London, that’s all, who wants to live at winterfell when you can live at kings landing..?

GOT sidetracked there ;)
We’re all excited for the new season, but try to contain yourself. One game at a time.

They’re not looking at Wolves, it’s QPR, Villa or Forest.

PSG looking to create another Wolves by buying a Championship club. I don’t quite understand why QPR are in there, and the fallacy around Forest being a huge club continues but it would be another nail in the FFP coffin.

Agree Forest are traditionally a small to medium sized club before winning the European Cup in 79 and 80.

2 strange but true facts
You know how we go on about Sheff Weds last averaging over 30,000 over 50 years ago.
Well since 1981 Nottingham Forest have only averaged over 25,000 on ONE occasion (back in 1996 when they averaged 25,916).
Although this season is an anomaly as their current 28,200 average will be their best for decades.

The only sleeping giant is Villa, who are potentially easily one of the biggest clubs in England.
QPR are a smallish club but like most things London based do have big potential and London is always a massive pull.

Won The European Cup, twice amazing feat for a tidler club.
And they are extending the ground.

If they are serious or have any business nous ,they will follow the wolves model and buy a financially sound model either that made a profit or a small loss as this allows them some wiggle room with ffp where in you can spend big in your first season and be out of the division by the time the accounts come out

I wouldn't have thought any of those clubs qualify

Forest are owned by a big fat dollop from Greece who has lots of money (all clean I’m sure) to throw around. I think he’d be expensive to buy out. :)

They won't have the brains or foresight to look any further than London.
QPR, Brentford or Fulham would be my guess

Thats true, but if it was going to be any of those clubs mentioned, the obvious one to me would be Villa rather than Forest but they would have to get the debt sorted, and thats not exactly chump change.

Whereas the pigs live off the glory of winning the league cup thirty years ago.

Two years after Leeds won the league.

Have a word with yourself.

Wow totally misinformed, assume you’re just on the wind up.

Check the facts for yourself. Leeds are a bigger club than Wednesday in almost every possible category apart from Leeds have a really poor history before the early 60’s. Before 1960 they were a nothing club.

Leeds do live off the glory of the Revie years in the 70’s but Wednesday legendary support is based around the Dooley years of the early 50’s, since that time SW haven’t even averaged over 30K much where as LU have averaged close to 40K many times.

It’s an incredibly high bar, but I think that is honestly the most deluded thing I’ve ever read on here.
There isn’t a single area where they could be considered level in size with Leeds.
Any pelters you get for that post, you’ve earnt.
