until the interviews onwards. it was a terrible damp squib. compared to 2019, but thank god for kitman? who was drunk it really liven up

it was heartbreaking to see how emotional sharp was on the balcony. as anyone would be its the end of era, of greatest goalscorer many of us may ever see. but if it is goodbye it was a perfect farewell or ending to his career

I think a few of the players with their own kids there might have had a thing to say to the culprit too.....I get it was a celebration and the booze was flowing etc etc, but that one shouldnt have happened. Behind closed doors and all that..... knock yourselves out, but cringe and stupid.

What happened? Was it one of the players that said it?

thought the bus parade was great personally. Definitely not a damp squib for me. Loads of people about and everybody seemed to be loving it.

Followed it all the way from the Lane but in the past haven’t bothered

Everyone there was hearing constant profanity with the chants being belted out. Unless you know the meme, you wouldn't have even picked up what he said.

Similar to last time to be fair. Good do and lovely bit of pyro and sweariness for the kids to enjoy

Me and the missus left after Billy and I thought it was done. Had a drink by the city hall before wandering back down to St Paul’s and Norwood was there orchestrating the small crowd, singing and signing for fans. Looked a very very final farewell.. but could be reading too much into it

I love what this club has done to so many of these players - Norwood, Bash, McBurnie, Baldock, Iliman, Doyle, Brewster, McAtee… if they never play for the club again they know what we’re about

I left after Billy’s speech, didn’t even realise they were going to come back out after standing around 10 mins with nothing going on! Wish they’d had said what was happening as I could hardly hear fuck all through the speakers 😂

i was at town Hall as i know that you cant do both & wanted to be at the front. but the bus following looked brilliant. but in 2019 gary sinclair did all the tv bit in person. & if you didnt follow the bus it was awful until 7.30 with the interviews

Yep someone shouted it , not really something you want to hear with young children around but fill a team of footballers up with beer and summert dart will happen won’t it mr kit man !

You tube video said 10k. I thought turnout was decent given we only did this 2 yrs ago.

Atmosphere was decent walking from BDTBL...always a delay while they stagger off the bus and get in town hall.

Interviews decent enough. Brewdog slightly cringe but funny.

Sharp bit had me in tears.

All round a good evening and good bit of "closure" and the season.
