Perhaps an unpopular opinion. Novelty has worn off for me on promotion parades. We didn’t win the championship. I find it a bit tinpot now doing it every time we get promoted.

It’s for the kids really, if you are anything below 8, you have either never really experienced a parade or can’t really remember the last one properly. Kind of thing that creates memories and keeps them coming back.
