8,000 Blades had travelled to Palace shortly before this game though.

This coupled with the fact we just missed out on automatic promotion.

The home game was very disappointing though, sure there was only about 24,000 there.

Including SemiPro, which was deeply disappointing.

Credit due for you acknowledging this for once.

Good as he was in the first leg at Deepdale, he was awesome in the return at the Lane. Probably the best game I ever saw him play.

Monty's best ever game for me was Arsenal at home in the Premiership (when Nade scored and we won 1-0). He was like a man possessed that day. Didn't give Arsenal a sniff and must have made about 20 match-saving challenges. He might have often panicked on the ball but Monty was one of the best man-markers I've ever seen.
