That's impressive... both the comments and the fact you compiled them so quickly.
Keep up the good work, your posts are often the first ones I click on.

Never seen such unblemished praise before - this guy must be a bit special!

That’s a 98% rating, hardly any sour comments,, sounds like we have a player on our hands here.

This is turning into a really well thought through transfer window thus far. Identifying players that should improve us, but at the right time, and without being taken for a ride. £13m for Luke Freeman and Callum Robinson is superb business in this market.
i hate to speak like this, but also players who i imagine wont jump ship at the first sniff of relegation, seem like the kind of lads who are here for footy and not cash.

CW is building a high potential PL team whilst also keeping an eye on futureproofing it all... very savvy

As I've posted earlier, CW is the best thing that has ever happened to our beloved club. When I see the shit storm over at S6 and Newcastle I get a lovely warm glow in my nether regions.

Looks like you struggled to actually find any negative views on the lad... Gone from being slightly underwhelmed to very pleased!

That's what is now starting to worry me.

I would be happier with -

- Jon "Knucklescraping Hoofer" Egan
- JO' "League 1 at best" C
- Leon hahaha are they serious?" Clark

and my ultimate favourite...

- Jon "constantly missing in games" Fleck

So heres to you Callum Robinson, Wilder loves you more than you can know. O o o Oh. UTB

Definite starter for six, nailed on song there.

I preferred yesterday's version (apologies I forgot the poster):

So here's to you Callum Robinson
Jesus loves you more than Ronaldo
O o o oh

Please. Could you not use Jesus and nails in the same post. Please.
It is Him I have to thank for being here today.
Amen.

As you were.

Part of a message from a Preston pal, knows his football:

"Your team have had a good solid start to life in the Premier League, and hopefully they can keep it up. They always seem to do well in the second half of their games and have good resilience. I think they will do alright this year. I was happy that Callum Robinson joined Sheffield Utd, I think Wilder is a good manager and that he will look after Robinson and give him good game time. You've probably seen enough of him now to form your own opinion of him as a player but, for what it's worth, here's my tuppence worth. When Robinson first joined us (under Grayson) he was lightweight, he couldn't or wouldn't tackle or head the ball, and he was easily knocked off the ball by big Championship defenders. He would also run down blind alleys and end up losing the ball, with no end product. We could see he had the talent, but he was very frustrating to watch at times. He did gradually improve, but there was massive progression when Alex Neil joined us and took him under his wing. He got more muscular, he was quicker, and he became more involved in the games as his defensive side of the game improved. Neil made him into a much better all round player and last season, up to the time of his injury (out for 3 months), he was regularly scoring/assisting goals.
Hopefully, Wilder will be able to continue Robinson's development, and if he does you'll have a very good player on your hands. One major downside, horror of horrors, he does wear gloves in September!! I hope he does well for you, and we always look out for him on Match of the Day to see how he is doing."

Workin in progress, thats what we get for £8m.

Funilly enough I stood next to a Forest fan in the airport yesterday and asked him about Osborn.

He said he was a good player but rather inconsistent. Reasonable value for £3m but would be surprised if he did well in P.L.

For them he was a 'big game player' who scored vital goals.
.

I expected "and kidney punched the scab as hard as I could",

rather than the very tame "and asked him about Osborn.".

3/10 - must try harder

Subtley asked him about Osborn and his first, bitter reply was ' Don't know doesnt play for us anymore'. Sometimes words hurt more!! Then he opened up and we never got onto 'scabs' like I did with a cousin at a family celebration last year. That did nearly get to blows. He had brought his 25 year old son up to hate us as a fan tradition. The lad knew he had to but couldnt really understand all the elements going back to Thatcher, play-offs., their relegation day under Clough etc.etc His dad sounded hollow and petty - and we were in the auto-position at the time and we'd had a great win that day. Great night, words not punches!

Was served by a lad in WalMart in Calgary this morning, we needed advice on a SIM Card. When we'd finished he suddenly said 'which soccer team do you support ' ( he knew we were English). I said Sheffield United and he at least pretended he had heard of us and he had I think. Asked him his team and it was Galatasary, and in England -Liverpool. He then asked who our best player is so I replied ' we dont have best players, we are a team' and he absolutely loved that answer and said he would tell his pals and look out for us all season. Englush P.L. worldwide appeal. SUFC right up there too.

Holds us back big time, down in 5th choice to start. If we’d started with Sharp or Mcgoldrick we could’ve won that, luckily Mousset should be fit to start next week

I'm not sure why some people are so down about him. He's not been fantastic but he's done alright and he got us both goals vs. Chelsea.

Robinson is either a winger or he needs to start as a wide player in a front three. He just isn't an out and out striker and I've no faith in him scoring in the Premier League starting up top as part of the front two.

When I saw the line up today I knew we'd not score in the first half.

Sorry Callum, nice lad and tries hard. Not a Premier League goal scorer in a month of Sundays. Wilder has given him more than enough chances and shown faith in him and gotten nothing in return.

When Billy and Didsy are back Callum can warm the bench for a while.
