Yeah, and its probably the same lad I knew who used to run the fishing club when I started there, a good lad, and well liked, happy he's done well and is helping to put money into united..

But, I'm sure I remember some old logo's with the presto words in red, that'd be better, don't you think?

Edit, I wasn't happy with the vw logo in blue n white either, tell me to eff off if I'm getting boring now...

They always had lots of sponsorship at the lane as I recall. Them and GT Motors (I think) who had the leggy lass sprawled over an Austin Montego on the back cover of the programme.

Oh yes I remember the lady in the GT Cars ad on the back of the programme around 1982 - sporting french style beret, striped top, short skirt and fishnets - at 12 years old that went straight in the wank bank! (For you younger readers, this was the days before tinterweb)

Isn't the Presto Tools hoarding still on the Bramall Lane stand? Along with that Housleys one with the terrible drawing of a player heading the ball?

I remember a Presto ad board on the old south Stand back in the late 80's early 90's, am I mistaken? Wasn't very old back then.

Yep they did.

I think one of their directors/owners was on the board at the Sty. Don't think that is still the case.

Like Sitwell and Tezza,I remember the site off Penistone Road...went there occasionally through work.I remember the first time thinking it would be full of pork,and with it being over the road from the Sty and painted Blue..I was surprised how many Blades worked there.I remember going upstairs to the snap room for a coffee and seeing Blades fixture calendars and pictures on the wall,and some good banter with the wendies.
