There's due to be a press conference tomorrow with more than one signing to be announced.

It'll be McCabe
"Sorry we tried to sign Evans but City wanted to keep him to peel grapes and feed em to John Terry, so instead we've signed Julian Gray and Glen Little and that will conclude our transfer spending for this window. START THE CAR TURRY QUICK"

Its all over the place every footy news page is saying this
I’ll know tomorrow as I’ll be dropping in to the academy first thing maybe I’ll see who we getting

says at least 2 new...
The Blades will unveil at least two new signings on Friday afternoon, Kevin Blackwell having now successfully having completed negotiations in both the full transfer and long-term loan markets.

They will be unveiled at a press conference and reflect significant investment in the United's manager's team-building for next season, following the acquisitions of Lee Williamson, Kyel Reid and Andy Taylor..

Speaking on Wednesday evening, after the pre-season victory over Chesterfield, he said: "We are keen to get players in to freshen things up - we are down on numbers at the moment.

"The statement from the club about the double transfer of the Kyles to Spurs indicated that we would reinvest in the team, and there has been considerable speculation as to the identities of likely targets.

"I've not been prepared to show my hand, it has been a case of wait and see, but we were always going to close incoming deals eventually, even if not as quickly as some people might have hoped."

I'd rather have Walker back in a deal like this than him stay and rot in Spurs reserves and never be heard of again.
He gets to be paid big bucks by Spurs and play for the club that he grew up with and improve himself and help us out at the same time.
It's not a bad thing and it's not the first time a transfer like this has happened and it wont be the last.

I don't get the Scab comment BTW

Maybe the statement was a wee bit rash but everyone needs to vent some frustration once in a while. Its just i can see walker becoming the regular right back for us next season if we loan him in. And it will hurt even more when he leaves us again! Do you really want to see him on loan at the lane next season or would you rather buy a new right back and progress with him?

ps. "scab" as in traitor.

I don't have any problem with either player, they've both gone to a big club good on them.

Scab's? chuffing el we're back to the miners strike are we?

I would prefer not to have Walker back on loan but I still don't understand the language in the original post at all.

We tried for one or two but due to injuries at their clubs........................ I'm sure you all know the rest.

if its lita id be most impressed cant see him being cheap as chips option.
if that was the case id almost think that showed a little ambition;)
