Cheers guys. Whenever we're given the opportunity to do stuff for you, we'll do our best.
It's always worth having a neb at the Twitter box on the front page if you hear that something's going off, as we don't always get the opportunity to post on the main forum that we're off to these things. Seeing as Seth Bennett was tweeting pictures, we thought we would too
So, Radio Sheffield 0 - 1 s24su.com
Seth and his cackling cronies missed the boat, and the amateurs are once again more professional. Linz and Fruit Machine do it again.
To be fair to Radio Sheffield, both Seth and Paul were there along with all the usual faces from the local and national press.
I don't know about the others, but we were given two hours' notice of the press conference while we were already off out so we just had time to nab a pad of paper and a camera. The Radio Sheffield lads are merely presenters, they rely on techies to set them up for outdoor broadcasts, as you will have seen if you ever went to a Q&A, and I don't know how quickly that set-up could be achieved.
Additionally, the only reason we had stuff up before 6pm was because we had to leave early so I could get to work

These wedding things don't come cheap!
Well done both. As a matter of interest, were other forum admins invited - or is this also a recognition of the way you guys have run S24SU down the years?
I'm not sure. There weren't any other admins there that we recognise but again, some people will have been at work yesterday and it was a bit of a last minute thing so people may have been invited who couldn't get.
It's nothing for the club to invite us to these things (just another tea and coffee to pour) but it shows an intention to try and engage with the fans through a vehicle they obviously don't think too badly of
